    Loads of flood alerts coming out but still no warning of heavy rain and flooding, doesnt make sense!

    We are in a dry spot now....hope that precip starts moving s/sw soon otherwise we will have ok temps and no moisture

    Is it just me or knowing we had a SSW so early on a decending easterly QBO, low solar activity, a weakening La Nina and we still can't get cold this year things are looking bleak for future years

    I was going to say you can talk all honesty though I think quite a few were burnt (including me) by the last cold spell so there is a lot of I need -10 uppers and dew points of -20 etc to be sure if anything does fall it is white even though that is not necessarily required

    @chionomaniac also I don't think the uppers in the winter of 47 were that cold either were they? Not saying we are looking at a 47 winter but just clinging onto the hope we can get something decent this winter
