  1. A few flakes of snow falling here too, the heaviest of the shower looks like it's giving places like East Kilbride a dusting!
  2. Yep, back to wintry showers here too with hail, sleet and snow. Roll on some summer heat and storms!
  3. Yep heard a few distant rumbles here too a little while ago. Heavy rain and sleet showers for most of the day but we seem to be getting more of them now, the last shower was pretty much wet snow on the back edge.
  4. Another lovey spring winters day! Tomorrow looks foul, the met office are expanding their weather warnings and about to issue an amber rain warning
  5. Only some snow piles remain here after the hair dryer winds and rain, probably the stormiest winds we've had all season! Happy to see spring now, or a big fall of snow of course...
  6. Yeah there's a yellow warning out. Icey/freezing rain here, sounds nice and the car is covered in it, but glad I'm not driving!
  7. Snow /graupel here too, wouldn't be surprised if there is some freezing rain mixed in as it's making a strange sound hitting off the windows!
  8. Just went to take a photo of the snow and a Sparrow Hawk was watching me...
  9. Snow falling here too, small flakes but starting to cover up the areas where snow had melted. Won't come to much but its rare to see fresh snow on top of old snow here!
  10. About -10c here, local traffic Scotland weather station is broken now but next closest is -9 about 40mins ago. (my own isn't in a reliable location) I've just been out throwing boiling water into the garden, neighbours must think I'm mad but I'm enjoying it
  11. Good photos. Yeah we're just catching the edge of them before they completely die out. Probably moderate snow compared to further east but the path and driveway are covered over again after I cleared them earlier.
  12. More snow here than I thought, I recorded 14cm somewhere level. Yellow warning
  13. We're getting quite lucky with the showers. Not overly heavy but snow totals slowly increasing, cars are getting stuck on the road outside as the earlier snow is compacted down to ice.
  14. Still yellow warning for Glasgow, despite heavy showers making it through and many areas at 10cm+
  15. About 3 inches of snow here, not bad for just catching the edge of most showers!
  16. Yeah, from what I could see on the charts they were ENE off the forth but then move more East to West as they cross the country. Can't really complain as we have a light covering of snow, but still hoping for some decent snow depths by the end of tomorrow...
  17. The problem with that is they have a longer track over land before getting to us so we don't get the heavy showers. We really need a slight change in wind direction to more of an ENE'ly/NE'ly to get some good depths, but from what I could see on the few models I looked at, this doesn't look likely!
  18. We're just on the southern edge of the Glasgow snow and have got a dusting. Cars coming off the motorway are plastered. Picture of the showers over Glasgow (before everything turned white here) Hoping everything moves slightly further south!
  19. The current shower in that area seems to have intensified as it comes in land since you lot have all complained...
  20. Showers are going pretty much straight East to West through the central belt, hope they get more ENE or we're going to miss em all...
