  1. Looks like the bulk of the rain will be leaving the here just after lunchtime, unless another deluge is on the way or some homegrown storm comes along, so not as bad as it was looking earlier on. But looking horrible further west.
  2. Woke up to heavy rain, but thankfully that cleared before I went to walk dogs, fine misty rain instead. Could end up with some high rainfall totals later, which will inevitably lead to flooding around the fields here, which then runs down to the roads. Edit: Got all day thunderstorm symbols on the good ol beeb forecast, little optimistic, but might get a few rumbles in amongst the deluge of rain.
  3. Rain bypassed here at Halesworth, squeezed right up the coast and now the sun is coming out again.
  4. had values ranging from 45/55 humidity here yesterday afternoon, currently showing 94 on most local station. There is a NW breeze today which is helping to make it feel a little better though.
  5. Looks like a home grown storm has fired up just 5miles or so from here, black skies to the south of me, hardly surprising as its very humid here.
  6. Woken by my fluffy, the sky is falling, the apocalypse is here alarm at around 2am, thunder rumbled around for an hour or so, didnt see any lightening but then I didnt open the curtain as I was trying to calm said fluffy alarm and go back to sleep. Managed the dog walk at half 6 without getting wet (except for soaked by sweat as humidity is 10000 percent) and now watching the wall of water going out into the sea from the south, light rain is nearly here.
  7. Still 27c here, humidity is up and very slowly starting to get some white cloud appearing in the sky, if the storm thats crossing the chanel stays on course, we just might get some fun late tonight/early morning.
  8. Now reached 28c, still think another couple of degrees before the day is through.
  9. 25c here before lunchtime and its just going to keep getting hotter, reckon a 29c could be reached and the humidity rising as the warm air comes up from the south.
  10. 17c here at 7am, not looking forward to today, going to be too hot and humid. Yesterday was a perfect summers day, 20c top temp with a lovely cooling breeze, shame all summer days cant be the same. As for storm chance tonight/tomorrow well that looks to likely be a bust for EA, reading through the storm thread, seems its going to be a west is best outlook, you never know we might be in with a small chance of a rumble or two, but Ill believe it when I hear it.
  11. Temps down to 22c now, dark clouds appearing, feels much more humid too, hard to believe we wont get some rain today.
  12. 25c and the cloud has arrived, so hopefully it wont get any hotter, eagerly waiting for the winds to turn northerly and a day of cooler temps tomorrow, then what looks like a hellish humid day wednesday but to be rewarded with 3 days (according to my always accurate (not) beeb app) of storm after storm.........I know its hilarious, I know we wont get a sniff but its nice to dream.
  13. So far a lovely day, the NE wind keeping the temps down, now this I can live with. BBC is showing thunderstorm symbols from 8pm wednesday night all through thursday!! Never is that gonna happen, but maybe just maybe we might squeeze an iddy biddy storm after the heat thats on the way this week.
  14. Lovely NW breeze this morning, wish it was staying around longer, unfortunately it will disappear and then the heat is going to build over the next couple of days, not looking forward to it.
  15. Thank god for the breeze this morning, because its very humid here and 17c too.
  16. A few clouds floating around but mostly sunny and hot. Just starting to notice its getting a little darker (and only because Im watching for it) as the partial eclipse is happening.
  17. my idea of hell. I really hate heat and humidity. Its already past my personal comfort level. But for all those that love it, enjoy
  18. Cloud burnt off by 11am and been blue skies since, up to 23c and doesn’t look like any chance of a storm today, NE looks in sweet spot.
  19. Cloudy afternoon after a high of 22c at lunch, very very light rain for about 5 minutes this afternoon, so that was boring. Allegedly some heavier rain showers tomorrow aft/evening that may (or most likely may not) have some thunder/lightening.
  20. Started with blue skies, clouds are slowly building, see some rising up to the west of here, will we get any thunder?? Probably not Temp 21c already.
  21. After the gloomy damp start, the sun has been out a couple of hours now and most of the damp has been dried out, up to 19c.
  22. Look like quite a bit of rain from the south heading this way, gonna be a wet day for a lot of our region it seems.
  23. Sunny morning with a cooling (thankfully) wind, light cloud now appearing.
  24. Reached 24c here today, so warmer than the last few days and the humidity is definately higher, although not by much but feels it. Not looking like anything interesting is going to arrive via france later for us in EA, maybe some rain overnight. Beeb app going for rain from 6pm tomorrow all night so maybe a passing chance of some T&L then, but doubtful.
