Blazerblue

What started as a sunny blue sky morning is quickly turning cloudy, still predominantly big white fluffy clouds but that no doubt that will change just as quick. Will we see a storm today, probably not.

Small pocket of rain just reached us, half hour ago on the radar, looked like a wall of water headed this way, but almost all gone by the time it reached us. No storms for us in triangle as usual.

Very dull and cloudy morning so far, fighting the urge to turn the heating on as it feels chilly indoors, ridiculous dont normally have any heating on in May, but only been a few days that its not come on at all!

Despite it clouding over occasionally its been a fine dry warm day here, kept expecting a shower to pop up over us but nothing at all.

Showers popping up all over the region now, clouds are gathering, not long before the blue becomes grey and we get another soaking it seems.

After a dull damp rainy drizzle cold fest of a day yesterday, woken this morning to sunny blue skies, light winds and its lovely out there. Will it last? Probably not according to the forecast, make the most of it whilst it lasts I guess.

Very dull morning, unlike previous days where its been sunny but chillier. But already been out to cut back my photinia red robins that have overgrown like mad the last few months, cleaned up all the leaves and am now knackered.

No light show or bangs here last night, that I heard anyway, torrential rain for a while around 9pm though, rain from last night now just clearing the east coast. Feels muggy still, so possibly more showers today, but hope the sun pops out and drys the fields out, which are starting to get very soggy again.

Plenty of lightening strikes out to sea, according to the lightening maps, might not make too much impact inland, time will tell.

I didnt hear the thunder, but my nervous nelly collie did, so shaking started, thankfully wasnt too close. And I completely agree about the cat comment! (But Im a dog lover )

A line of heavy showers just running up the east coast, will miss us, but might hear some thunder from the distance. After a quick shower earlier around 9am, turned out sunny and with a breeze but from a warm direction now, so starting to feel humid......might just get a storm later

Cloud not burning off, but getting thicker and its going dark, looks like a shower is about to come through, Grrrrr forecast for sun all day has gone to pot already.

Beautiful warm sunny blue skies here to wake up to, some cloud has rolled in, hoping that burns off quickly, loads of washing to get dry, so the storms can stay away until this evening, of course here in the Triangle they will miss us anyway, we'll just get rain!

Been raining all morning, well at least since I woke up at half 6 and its still raining, although I can see a hint of blue off to the S/west, so hopefully its nearly cleared through. Tomorrow should hopefully be a nicer day and fairly warm if the winds arent too blustery.

Wow, only a few miles from us, yet I didnt hear anything here, although we did have some heavy rain/hail around that time.

Another day, another frost and rain now incoming it seems.....again. Beeb forecast for 18c sunday, lets hope they're right

Didnt hear any thunder hear, but did have a heavy hail shower earlier and otherwise showers on/off.

Apart from the nagging chilly wind, today hasnt been at all bad, sunny blue skies and out of the wind the sun has a nice warmth to it. Unfortunately the showers are almost upon us again.

Trying to find a gap in the showers is proving a headache for the evening dog walk, winds are dropping slightly now, so any showers will stick around a bit longer, decisions, decisions.......

I dont know if it was a combination of rain and wind or just the rain, but it was so loud it woke me around midnight. Just got caught in a shower whilst out walking the dogs, horrible, and that wind is still very gusty, lots of small branches and bits of bushes strewn all about this morning. Looking at the radar, rain is incoming later on this morning. My garden looks like autumn arrived, leaves, blossom and bits of moss of the roof all around, not sure its worth trying to tidy it yet whilst its still windy out.

Rain arrived around 7pm, winds been picking up slowly since late afternoon, not looking too bad out there at the moment and Ill be asleep before the worst of it arrives, long as its stopped raining by morning Ill be happy.

Met O yellow wind warning for Monday 12pm til 9am issued. Didn’t think it was gonna be that windy for a warning!

Wasnt expecting to wake up to a frost, especially as it was still raining when I went to bed, but a hard frost on the grass at low levels, sun out but keeping an eye on the showers further north, hopefully they fizzle out before reaching here.

Raining now, can rain overnight that’s good so long as it’s stopped by morning walkies time

Had a bit of rain earlier, just enough to wet the ground and now the winds seem to have shifted to SE, with still a chill to them, clouds building all around now, looks like more rain for this evening.
