No rain again yesterday, this morning looks to have have some rain over us, but nothing reaching the ground......yet. Forecast to have some showers about later, personally be quite happy not to have them, yes the ground is now hard, but it wont last and Id rather not have soggy muddy yuck to walk around in after its taken so long for it dry out after the non stop deluge we had the first few months of this year. -
Getting very dark here, no showers near us on the radar, but might pop up soon.

No rain reached here yesterday and although its sunny this morning, that flipping wind is cold.

Cloudy day here, few tiny spits n spots of rain in the breeze just now whilst out walking the dogs.

Another hard frost (lost count of Aprils frost mornings) and sunny blue skies.

Yep the easterly wind is back. Bet when its needed in the summer to cool things down, it disappears only to return in autumn!

Qute a hard frost here this morning, but that will soon be gone as the sun is already out with blue skies, hoping that east wind doesnt pick up again today, yesterday wasnt too bad after the mist cleared in the morning, but the nagging wind was still biting in the shade.

Was expecting to wake to thick fog this morning, as that was on the forecast, but thankfully not, quite sunny, hoping the low cloud doesnt roll in.

Fog gone, lovely and sunny out there. Came home from walking the dogs to find my front lawn had been cut, my neighbour did it for me, bless her, as she knew I hadnt been feeling well. Or maybe it was because the daisies were growing too high as I hadnt cut it in 3 weeks

Another overnight frost here, although by the time I got out this morning alot of it had already gone, just some left in the shaded areas. Another bright sunny day on the cards, more of this I can certainly get used to.

Washing out and drying in the sun, (also hoovered, yay me) doesnt feel too breezy in the garden, might venture down to the millennium green for a woofer walk later, then of course it might feel windier. Personally quite happy for it stay with frosty nights and sunny days, warm enough for me, not a 30c+ person and more than happy not to have days of rain and dull yuk.

Thanks SL, not too bad today and the OCD cleaning person that I am, cant deal with dirty washing that needs doing! Nice bright start to the day, frosty but feeling not too cold in the sunshine and bonus no awful strong winds.

Looks like its been a nice day outside, been in bed most of the day with nasty bout of Gastritis, had ambulance out last night as thought was having heart attack, several ECGs later, not heart attack thankfully. Doctor diagnosed gastritis, given meds but been in agony so looked at weather whilst lying in bed, easing off a bit now, hopefully a nice weekend to come, got loads of washing to do!

Frost first thing, as I walked the dogs it got cloudier from the east and just managed to walk through the front door when a brief shower occurred, a few showers coming in off the north sea today, otherwise supposed to be sunny in between

Wow, didnt realise there was snow around last night, think we had a few bits of sleet in a quick shower but that was it. Frost on grass and cars here this morning, hopefully the sun gets to work and warms things up nicely.

Wasnt expecting to wake up to a light snow covering on grass and cars this morning, thankfully nothing settled on pavements and roads. Still a bitter wind blowing too. According to another dog walker I saw this morning, it was blizzards at 10pm last night, Id already gone to bed so missed it.

Ranging from light snow in the breeze to heavy hail showers over the last couple of hours now, sky has gone very dark.

Just had a hail shower, thought it was snow but no hail, lots of showers running down from the north this afternoon and that wind is icy, numb face when out walking, if only I could only walk south then its not so bad, but sooner or later have to turn around and brave the wind.

No frost here this morning, too windy I expect. But we have sunshine and blue skies, radar showing showers down the east coast, hopefully they wont get inland to effect here. So cold last night, had to put a jumper on around midnight as I couldnt get warm even under thick duvet and fluffy covers!

One minute sunshine, the next light snow/hail flurries. Winds still strong.

Just been out for a walk in the sunshine and there are still snowflakes in the wind whirling around, weird, out of the wind its quite warm, so how its snowing I dont know.
