Had a text message, that reads, due to adverse weather conditions, unfortunately we have had to cancel your asda groceries home delivery that was due today, we are really sorry but we've had to do this for the safety of our drivers. No doubt refund will come tomorrow as it usually does if they overcharge or i send something back. Not worried, managed to walk to coop, which was empty, for essentials. But is flipping expensive.

Road closures around here, utter madness as some people are still trying to drive in it. Cars moving about 5mph collided just up my road. Poor gasway man in van got stuck outside my house, so tried to help him, but couldnt get it out of snow, luckily a rescue truck, who had been removing the collided cars, saw, reversed down the road and managed to pull him out. Even 4x4s are getting stuck and have to be abandoned.

Snow over a foot in places here in east suffolk, well over the top of my wellies, snow fell in the front door as I opened it this morning! No roads are passable from our town, even the rescue vehicles and gritters cant get out, drifting is a major problem. And its still snowing. This is far more than we had in 2018. I fear my food delivery wont be getting here from Lowestoft today, no way the delivery van will make it through. Luckilly I can get by foot, just, to the local Co-op for emergency supplies. Take care anyone whose out on the roads this morning and if you dont need to go, then stay home, far safer. EDIT. Just had message from Asda, to tell me they have cancelled my order due to not being able to deliver today for the safety of their drivers. Hope they refund my money then, I dont know why Asda seem to think its ok to take the money a day prior to delivery.

Just had to go out and use a broom to get the snow off my garden plants, my red robin photinia which have reached 6ft were bent in half with the weight of the snow, taken years to grow them that tall, dont want them snapped in half now. -

Actual flakes now, not huge flakes, but better than the snizzle. -

Being generous Id say we have an inch of covering, but its still very light snow, that looks more because of the wind blowing it about. Im sure most would be pleased to get what weve had, but its not what id call proper snow, its snizzle and its annoying. As soon as you try to walk on it, it turns slushy. -

Not exactly a whiteout yet, light snow blowing around in the breeze, probably a few cms accumulated, was expecting it to be heavier here what with the amber warning. -

Rain slowly clearing here in east suffolk now, being sent northwest by the breeze, only gonna get a few hours of no rain to dry things up a bit before the next load comes in and assuming by them it will be sleet then snow, Not liking the look of the 50mph wind gust in with the snow for the mornings dog walk, might be yetis by the time we get home! -

Turned out another mild sunny day after the damp start. Do we really need snow? All the crocuses and daffs are blooming over the park areas, be a shame to kill them off. -

its definitely looking that way, might even get enough for a snowman, but then again, being in the triangle, it could all go around us -

Heck, 54 pages, is it gonna snow then? Damp, cloudy morning, yesterday was lovely day until about 2pm, had wall to wall sunshine, then the cloud and drizzle came in, obviously quite some rain over night as puddles about today. -

Bright blue skies, cold and a touch of frost this morning, everything slowly drying out again, still some flooding over fields. I know everyone is getting excited about the prospect of snow, and Id normally be the same, happy to have the cold come in, helps to dry out more, but really dont want masses of snow, as it melts will just create gunky soggy mess and this year I dont feel up to dealing with it. Cold, sunny, blue skies please. -

After a wet start, its now glorious sunshine and quite mild, can we keep this please, no more rain, dont need the snow, just warm sunshine to dry everything up and lift the spirits, wishful thinking I know. -
