So when walking the pooches half 6 tomorrow morning, im gonna end up with snow dogs?? wont sleep tonight with all the excitement. If i just get soaked from cold rain I will not be amused
Used to have a path here, but in the last few weeks it’s been impassable as soon as we get rain. Knee height, even in wellies can’t get through. Takes days to recede and then it starts all over again. Surrounded by fields that are also under water, nowhere for it all to drain.
Nice hard ground frost this morning, fog that rolled in last night has gone and light blue skies appearing, hopefully the sun will make an appearance today too.
This constant heavy rain is causing mayhem round here, roads completely flooded, fields overwhelmed and rivers burst out all over the place, and it just keeps coming down, awful weather, on top of the floods at Xmas time, we can’t take anymore
Is there any end to this relentless rain coming anytime soon? Flooding again here, after the weeks before flooding had finally receded. Just keep piling in off the sea
Is it lamp post watching time yet? Or should I not bother? Be nice to go to bed and wake to blanket of white stuff, but I have a feeling it’s gonna be a no? ️️️
Rain, rain and more chuffing rain. If it does produce something tomorrow night onwards, we’re too close to the coast for anything but more chuffing rain.
Good hard frost, down to -3, sunny now and the flooding we’ve had is easing. Another week of this is fine, dry everything out, then some snow would be nice.
To everyone here, here’s to a safe, healthy and happy new year
All snow symbols for Suffolk gone bye bye over night, sunny tomorrow but still got a yellow warning.
As much chance of snow here as we do of storms in the summer....f and all.
Lethal paths here this morning, where it was dry and froze last night, it looks like it’s had light rain this morning and that’s frozen on the top, one foot out the door this morning and I nearly went a*se over t*t.
Winds not much right now, but feels colder than yesterday even though the temps are higher. Does anybody know if the winds could be bad near the east Anglia coast? Or is it just further south that could be damaging?
