Sticky morning, feels more humid today than the last few, supposedly warmer today but with light cloud around and maybe a storm early tomorrow morning. Today is the day to remove as much undercoat from my rough collie as possible, likely over a carrier bag full as usual and then a dreaded bath for him, still at least he should dry quickly. -
21c here at 10am, yesterday we reached 23c, so Im expecting it to get warmer today. At the top end of what I find comfortable, not a hot weather lover.

Been a lovely couple of day, burnt arms sitting in the garden for an hour this afternoon, breeze has picked up a little but as far as Im concerned been nice temps, not too hot not too cold and no rain, even the cloud cover later on this afternoon didnt last long. Few more days at least of the nice weather hopefully.

Sunny blue skies first thing and its already quite warm

Sun eventually made it out before lunch and its been a warm sunny day for a change, seeing some showers further west in the region but they dont look to be headed this way. Fingers crossed for a sunny weekend.

Blue skies early on, have turned grey again already this morning, sun trying, hopefully it makes an impact before the evening like yesterday.

Well the sun finally got through the cloud about an hour ago, otherwise its been pretty dull all day. Still hoping its gonna brighten up this weekend.

After yesterdays promising start, it went downhill with rain most of the afternoon and then the sun made an appearance again in the evening. This morning the sun is trying to break through the cloud and its supposedly not going to rain today, but then local forecast said that yesterday. Fingers crossed it starts to warm up a bit (not to silly temps of 30+ which I hate) a nice 18-22c would be lovely for the weekend.

Day started dull and a bit of rain in the wind, but the sun has put his hat on and is shining albeit with some clouds in the sky, might be an ok day, hopefully the promised high pressure will start to make an impact and the doom and gloom is finally on its way off.

I have once again given up and put the heating on, cant remeber a May before that I have ever done that and this month its been on most days, energy companies must love the cold damp days this far into the year.

Another fabulously dull and drizzly morning to add to the many in May we've had. Maybe June will be better, not sure it could be worse.

Quick 5 minute hail shower just now, sun on the way back out.

Im more worried about him travelling in heavy rain, hes 83 this year and its a flippin long journey, although he will be stopping every couple of hours for a break, so a full days journey. Temps supposed to be around 17 by the weekend and thats fine by me.

Day has started sunny and blue skied, looks to go downhill this afternoon. Hopefully forecasts are correct in getting better from mid-week onwards, as my father is driving up from Cornwall on friday for the long weekend.

What happened to the sun, was lovely and sunny when I woke up, put some washing out, and the sun has gone. Chilly now too, feels quite depressing, at least with the showers we got sun in between. Wet weather incoming later on and then the wind gets here and its back to autumn.

Rain cleared to sun, humid lunchtime walk, skies going very dark to the north of me, heard two rumbles of thunder so far, looks to be slow moving and the sun has now gone again, almost upon us. Could be a good afternoon for storms as that sun is now very warm when its comes out even for just a few minutes.

Fabulous, just got soaked on the early morning dog walk, wasnt raining when I left, so didnt take a coat and hadnt checked the radar, doesnt bode well for the day ahead.

The rain has now reached us, nothing thundery though

Lots of strikes about 8 miles north of us according to the lightening radar, zip nadda zilch here, not a drop of rain either. All around us!
