    A brief high of 3 degrees today, slightly higher than the past two days. Enjoying the seasonal weather, yes I would love to see a snow apocalypse but we are 1 week into Winter, so no point sulking about the lack of precipitation. It could be much much worse!

    A max of only 2-3 degrees today. I, like many would love to see some snow and it certainly would be a great shame for this cold spell to pass us by without any of the white stuff. At least were only a week into Winter, plenty of time to receive the goods!

    Cold outlook as has been the case for a while. But TBH, I prefer the GFS 12z over the ECMWF 12z, higher risk with the GFS of course with more vigorous Atlantic lows; but the rewards could be amazing!

    Looking forward to recording some proper air frosts this week! I am also hoping to record my first flakes of the season, but sadly, I don't think I'll see anything more substantial. But still time for things to pop up and give surprises.

    Temperatures reaching double digits by the end of next week. I did not expect to be encountering double digit temperatures this soon.
