  1. Yes it's very bizarre, considering this location is fairly exposed to the south-westerly winds with the channel on the doorstep. It'd be interesting to hear an explanation.
  2. I'm in the amber zone, but I've had comparable winds with a summer sea breeze.
  3. Wouldn't an increase in Iberian heights not tighten the gradient and make the isobars tighter together?
  4. Well for me, I'd rather risk it going into France to prolong the cold, or not, rather than it hitting further north and creating a washout with rain down here. Unless it runs further south we have no chance on the south coast.
  5. Yes it all depends on what you're doing of course, love it when laying in bed though.
  6. The real joke is the fact that it snowed here last Monday, but I was out of the country at the time!
  7. I would much rather wind and rain to cold cloudy nothingness, especially when there's a wall of snow 20 miles south of here going nowhere.
  8. This Is like a sick joke from the weather, that is literally 20-30 miles from an epic snowstorm. I missed last Mondays snow as I was out the country, sods law
  9. You can all thank me for the snow you get monday onwards as that's when I'm flying out the country. Typical!
  10. Wow, don't think it's often I'm in the dullest area of the country!
  11. I'm glad 1976 is gone, it's longevity was astonishing but has no match for the pure potency of today's style heatwaves. At least it opens up the competition.
  12. I haven't seem more than a sugar coating since March 2013, I'm aware though that my location doesn't help.
  13. Oh right, fair play. A blustery sunshine and showers type day here, nice cloudscape around and 11c
  14. Not correct, you have no idea what's going to happen in a week, and neither do the models.
