'The cold is hard to shift', is all you read in the mod thread, yet it pushed the cold air aside with ease last night in about an hour a 8c temp rise, that's the cold snap over.
Amazing how the atmosphere works, had rain at -3c before the temps starting to climb about an hour ago here, must have frozen on impact but haven't been outside to check.
Nice to have a chilly opening to winter, a couple of light frosts here nothing out of the ordinary before a return to double figures and rain on sunday onwards. All pretty normal really.
August was fine here, and I'm not too bothered about poor summer weather as its always at least warm 20c+
We never had a frost in the first place down here that is the price of living by the sea!
