  1. August was fine here, and I'm not too bothered about poor summer weather as its always at least warm 20c+ We never had a frost in the first place down here that is the price of living by the sea!
  2. Rain is always more painful when literally everywhere else is seeing snow..
  3. I've had sleet and snow over my area for a couple hours now on radar but nothing is even falling from the sky ? Maybe it's too warm?
  4. Here we are forecast Fri and Sat highs of 5c then it gradually rises after, so it's 2 cold-ish day really..
  5. Especially down here aswell, dropping below 0 is hard to come by these days. This week there is only a couple of -1 mins forecast for here.
  6. Low of 2.8c here this morning just after 9am, no visible frost, cloud cover must have kept it up.
  7. I think they do, when I was a kid and went to America for the first time the weather presenters said 'it will be 100 degrees today', I thought it can't be that hot we will all die lol
  8. What makes more sense? 0celsius freezing point 100celsius boiling point, or 32farenheit freezing point 212farenheit boiling point?
  9. Going from Celsius to Fahrenheit would be like going from electricity back to candle light lol
  10. I disagree, Celsius is much simpler freezing at 0c boiling at 100c, Fahrenheit is a bit 'messy' in my opinion.
  11. For me on the coast, daytime temps around 5 and below start to peak my interest, and obviously 0c and below at night. I probably have a lower benchmark to most though ❄
  12. Haven't had a covering since february 2019 and that was only a couple cms.
  13. I'm not a huge fan of that winter, here we had a few frosts which was nice but it was very wet while a lot of the country was enjoying lots of snow. Still, I did get to see snow falling briefly on the 24th Jan although it didn't lay.
  14. Very changeable week so far down here, one day persistent rain and wind, the next blue skies. Again more rain and wind tomorrow after todays blue skies and light winds.
  15. It certainly did rain rain rain here! Stopped at about 4 ish.
  16. An odd sort of day in that it was blue skies and sunny all day and mild but with a strong gusty wind. Very poor visibility too, usually you can see brighton along the coast but couldn't see a thing today, anybody know why? Maybe foam from the choppy sea?
  17. An extremely narrow area of 100mph winds, that surely suggests sting jet potential?
  18. Sounds right for my area, there's been a lot of rain but more of the thundery showers and sunshine in between type so not too bad.
