    Not a bad evening 16C. Looking reasonable for the weekend ......well at least it cannot be worse than last Saturday.

    Didn't honestly think it would happen anyway.........just wishful thinking we may get up near the 20C I think most of us up here are now suffering from SAD and are desperate for a bit of sunshine and real warmth!!!

    Yes,......... here too tonight at around 6.15pm. The ground was white with hail! Current temps 9C and its cold damp and raw. Noted that a hot weekend is forecast.....we may get one day of decent weather but i doubt the temps will get anywhere near the 30C forecast for down south.

    A dreich miserable day. We haven't yet switched the heating off for summer. Nights will pull in and winter is on the way, weather is all topsy turvy!........ The weather patterns have definitely changed, certainly becoming cooler if not colder. I need sunshine and some warmth Longest day was cancelled here......it was dark by 11pm!!

    Working at a fair in Inverness all day and it p***** down!!! I am at fairs the next two weekends and just hope it is not as bad as it was today. 12C and drying out now.........too late.

    Aw........... congratulations on reaching 2000 posts HC..........I have yet to reach my 1000 posts of twaddle. What a coincidence. I love that area, It is beautiful and tranquil....... That's a couple of Tuesdays we have been in the same area areas!! LOLOLOL

    A much better day, sunshine and temps around 17C.......Iwas up by Mullardoch Dam Deer Spotting.......dozens of them around. As you say HC it has been perfect midge weather. Temps look reasonable for tomorrow and Thursday .......with a but, a few slight showers possible.

    A cracking morning.....sun shining and temps of 12C at the moment. Weather warning out from Meto for the North East of Scotland for heavy and persistent rain on Monday and Tuesday.

    not a bad day reached 13C now raining lightly and temps dropping slightly. Temps rising from the middle of next week hopefully.:happy:

    Not a bad day......temps reached 13C and no rain although it threatened a couple of times. The rest of the country is in either in a state of drought or near drought conditions and has had the warmest Spring according to daytime temperatures! Aye SS maybe we should reclassify Scotland from 'Temperate Maritime' to 'Subpolar Maritime'.

    Sun is out for a few minutes and temps up to 12C Had a look at the 10 day forecast for my postcode and it promises 23C for just the one day on Wednesday next week......amazing. Back down to 16C on Thursday and dropping further thereafter. SS have you got any better news ...............please? I am going brown with rust!!

    Not much better today 10C and cloudy again and top temps will probably reach 13C. Forecast has said snow for the mountains....has somebody not informed Mr Weather its June?? Whats going wrong, our weather patterns are stuck in winter mode?
