crap isn't it?

I, by no means believe Moat is a hero, however, I do have a problem with the way the Media (in particular the red tops, like The Sun) dealt with the whole story.
Added on top of that the News film/sound footage of the negotiations between the Police, (with Gazza, blind drunk, bringing his fishing rod and some chicken drum sticks along for the ride) and Moat, and then having his apparent suicide forever recorded and shown live on TV - thats what I have a problem with, and is maybe why some members of the public have some sympathy for him.

I saw Granddad last night (after the NHS cancelled his Liver Biopsy) and I am genuinely shocked at how much he has deteriated in the past month to 6 weeks. He has lost weight, can't walk properly and his skin has a yellow tinge to it. I think he's giving up to be honest.

I agree with all the above comments. From a girl who always over analyses everything, dont! I have spent most my life analysing everything - all it does is knock your confidence. He likes you for you - go with the flow and enjoy!

Ahhh to be 19 again!
Happy Birthday Sammie -
Awww, what a cutie! Congratulations Karl and the other half

Louby, trust me, that will never happen. I plan to get up every morning to buy a newspaper at 6am while walking my brood of Yorkshire Terriers, read that, then settle down to day time TV, give the dogs lunch, watch deal or no deal, then paint the town red at the local Age Concern get together. I might even chat to Mr Raven if he's still alive.

Congrats Wibs!

SC, you will love it! I see the London Eye and Big Ben every day at work, but sailing down the Thames really does bring home just how nice some parts of London are. (if you ignore the drug gangs, knife and gun culture, muggings and tourists)
-
Katie, I can genuinely imagine how scary that was for you. I was stuck up London when the bombs went off on 7/7. I wasnt (thankfully) directly caught up, but I will never forget that terror and disbelief I felt at the time; and the panic attacks I had for some time afterwards on the train journey to and from work. ((hugs))

Aww, Dazza and Mrs Dazza - congratulations to the both of you. Does that now mean you will change your name on NW to DazzaLoo carrying on tradition?

Do you want a lend of my wall?
Yes please Louby! 20 minutes I was on the phone trying to book an appointment with a mortgage advisor at my local Barclays via an call centre in India - only to be told that my bank can't call me until today to arrange the appointment. It took 20 minutes to tell me that.

Your 2007 sounds about as bad as mine - 2008 can only be an improvement!
Your evening sounds like mine - except I shall have Take That as company at midnight (well, and the husband )
