    "IF" GW is the culprit here, is it also having an effect in Antarctica ?? Pretty sure I heard a report on Radio 4 last week that ice is on the increase at the S Pole. *confused*....err yes.

    Fair comment, I saw snow patches on Lochnagar c1991-ish in early July. A month later I got caught (briefly) in a white-out on Glen Shee.

    It's coming down moderately here in North Oxfordshire since about 11am-ish, +3c but not sticking at all. If we could only drop a degree or so it would be partytime. Spoke to my Father in Abergavenny (Monmouthshire), having a complete nightmare down there, 6"+ on top of yesterday's efforts.

    Hi Beka, good i'd say. -8c tonight means the snow's not going anywhere for a while. A peak of +1c tomorrow will hold it fast until the cavalry arrive on Saturday. Global warming - I luv it B) B)

    Well considering it's a SW flow I reckon you've got a fair bit to go yet. I'm on N Oxon/S Warks border so what i've got, you'll get. It's still coming down well here with no signs of slowing up or thawing, easily 10-12 cm+ Enjoy !!!!!!!

    Still coming down fiercely here in North Oxfordshire. NW's homepage gives me a 60% chance of snow !! - cheers guys, can't see my car for snow !! God help me when I get a 100% chance of snow

    Not much debate on this FI chart at the moment. Good Scandi highs here (for FI of course). Forecasting seems to have stalled at Thursday, it's almost as though we daren't look any further as it's bound to end in tears & bitter recrimination !!
