  1. Yep! I’m about 6 miles SE of Perth near sea level and been getting hammered since 5am with rounds of ridiculously heavy snow. Final total measured is 11cm or so.
  2. Extremely heavy snow now! At 0735 I recorded 5cm , video was taken at 0740 IMG_6483.MOV
  3. Heavy snow and -2.6C here in Perth. Must be 3-5cm on ground with lots of snow incoming.
  4. Moderate snow here near Perth. Falling like powder. Temperature -2.6C. IMG_6455.MOV
  5. Can confirm. Steady light snow under very light radar intensity. Band about to hit.
  6. Icon 6z shifting the precip south and brings the core of the precipitation to the central belt. Other models either agree or disagree significantly. A pain
  7. Less than a desirable UKV 15z for those who live in and around the central belt
  8. I've put out a tweet promoting the weatherquest snowfall reporting system. Might be in some interest for a few in here?
  9. At least you have snow unlike myself , Kirkcaldy weather and a few others on here.
  10. Some photos from my walk up to 240m , just behind Abernethy. Good 3cm of powdery snow!
  11. Absolutely nothing on the ground here from last night. Had lots of sleet and wet snow but nothing settled. Just an ice rink out there.
  12. Juicy shower approached here then died on my door step bringing very light sleet.
  13. Big drop in temperature in the last hour here, was 1.9C an hour ago , now 1.1C. Heaviest precip expected after 9pm with it peaking around midnight here. Sleet , wet snow or buried in snow is still in question though...
  14. Models pushed the wintry mix for tonight back a couple hours for this evening. Heaviest precipitation for Perth area will be 10pm-midnight. Bit earlier north of there and bit later south of there. Arpege a good 1C colder for most now this evening which could increase snow risks….
  15. Sleeting here this morning temperature between 1.5-2C and dew point 0.5-1C. Perth*
  16. I don't expect much if any snow for many across Tayside and Fife as well as parts of C/SE Scotland for low levels and coasts. Am expecting locally 1-2cm to low levels but mostly above 200m where I expect 2-5cm widely, with 10cm+ possible in places.
