Well, all hope of a White Christmas is now gone! lol. I do find his forecasts interesting but I wish they were a little more correct. -

Well, thats the Planes, Trains and now we await the automobiles! I am off to bed to get enough sleep to try to leave [whats left of] the house in the morning. Night all. Enjoy watching what arrives. But stay safe please. -

South East & East Anglia Regional Weather Discussion 26/10/13

Much quieter here [woodford Green, essex] than earlier, rather creepy. There is a high scaffold at the end of my garden thanks to a Builder who is doing a refurb. It was crashing around all day and I hope it does not end up in the Garden tonight.- 1,436 replies

Possible severe storm Monday 28th October 2013 Part 2

Yes they did!! It was horrible and living in Epping Forest just hearing the Tree's screaming as they fell was awful. That howl of that wind will also live with me. The only good news that night was that in the Capital Radio's building Alan Freemans record collection got thrown out of a broken window. Which was a relief for everyone. lol -
Possible severe storm Monday 28th October 2013 Part 2

Quite. Yet my Hubby was working in Jersey during the '87 storm and they were all told to be back at their Hotel by 10pm due to a massive storm coming. I watched the last Weather forecast before the BBC went off air [yes really] and went to bed thinking it would be a bit windy and got woken up 3hrs later thinking the World was ending!!! Ho, hum.........................stuff happens. -

The inpact weather matrix cannot go to red until we are in it! It mean "Take action", so if you want to run around screaming for 24hrs the box would be ticked. For one who now hates the wind due to '87 I am hoping for a downgrade. -

So sorry to hear this. I lost Mulder this time last year, he was also 18. They become part of your Family for so long that you think they will live forever.- 746 replies

My deepest sympathies John. And to Leemondo, congratulations. It really is the Circle of Life. John, it does get better with time and my Mum was my best friend too, miss her every day and it's been 5yrs now. On to the Weather, I think at the moment all we can be sure of is that we will get some. Weather that is! -
Think that is it for me. Nite all. Nice Banter etc. Let's hope it happens again in a couple of weeks!!!
-
Me too. I think it's all over, but will give it a few mins, according to radar not quite out of it yet.
-
No, you certainly cannot! We are tough us lot. We have to be........................................................So many drinks and not enough time.
-
There is a gap in the Radar and I am at the mo, in it! Do I have time to build a Snowman? Do I want to? No. Will finish Wine and hit the Sack.
-
All stopped here. But on the radar it continues??? Will check again before I pass out.
-
Does he grit Lamposts then?
-
Nope, or I would have gone to bed hours ago. Even Essex Girls get tired.
-
Ditto, I will be catching up on sleep for the rest of the week I reckon. Still, I do nights sometimes........................eeek.
-
I have a lovely White one which I use on Hols, one has to keep up appearances as a real Essex Girl.
-
Ha, ha, asif. lol
-
Nice, but I have considerably more Snow than you!
-
Snow is now battering at the Window which faces North East????
