  1. Highs of just THREE on Friday for me in Essex, sleet now beign forecasted basically all day. Next few days also looking about 4-5C. Very cold.
  2. Snow forecast for here next Friday (4th), albeit only a 40% chance. Thats' according to the BBC anyway.
  3. Beautiful morning in Essex. -1C and ground frost. Looks very wintry
  4. Shenfield, United Kingdom 14 Day Weather Forecast - The Weather Network WWW.THEWEATHERNETWORK.COM Find the most current and reliable 14 day weather forecasts, storm alerts, reports and information for Shenfield, UK with The... Weather for me in the next two weeks - not sure how accurate the site is, but if its right, 1st of December will be a very cold day with a high of 3C and a low of 2C. Hoping something like November/early december 2017 - beast from the east will come off
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm9vU4n2Trk Christmas is looking COLD!
  6. A nice, crisp morning today in Essex, didn't expect frost as low last night was forecasted as 2C, but around 1C when I woke up. Cloudy now though.
  7. Know its the BBC and can be quite conservative with tempreatures, but this has changed rapidly and dramatically from the temps forecasted earlier in the day and week.
  8. Looks like some colder weather is on its way, temps down to single figures by the end of next week
  9. The weather has honestly been so boring....I wish I lived in somewhere like the midwestern USA or Colorado where they get massive tempreature swings, with snow and freezing tempreatures one day and temps into the lows 20s the next.
  10. Nice few days with average-slightly below average temps, frost and fog, but looks like a return to boring, mild days, with little change in tempreature between day and night. I thought we weer supposed to see Northerly and northwesterlies this month!
  11. Don't believe it was four days of above 35c, maybe 34c. either way weatheronline is quite unreliable, they were forecasting 35C at the end of june when in reality I think it was just 31C.
  12. Yeah, I don't see anything even near 20C tommorow, it will be ridiculously high in the morning, maybe 17C. They also forecasted 35-36C for about six days straight this summer in London.
  13. Next wednesday is looking like the first real cold day, highs of 9C for me and lows of 1/2C. Most probably aware without needing this but on a seperate note I was readign one of the government's SAGE meeting minutes and according to government forecasters, November/December has a high chance of cold outbreaks, but January and February have a higher chance of being mild and wet. Certainly pretty mild for this late in october/november, was much colder last year, but some of the colder maxima we have seen earlier in the month. Not as bad as Paris in France with a high of 20C on Monday (2 days into November!). Sharp, cold snap coming up though, overnight minimum looking low for the first time this autumn
  14. Anyone been looking at the ridiculous cold in much of the western US? Look at El paso el+paso+weather - Google Search WWW.GOOGLE.COM - highs of 3C today, 24C below average for October! Denver has also been ridiculously cold with lows of -12C. Denver, CO, United States Monthly Weather Forecast - weather.com WEATHER.COM Weather.com brings you the most accurate monthly weather forecast for with average/record and high/low... Shame this month hasn't had many genuinely cold nights, a very boring, average month here
  15. Very cold day today, still at 9C, highs of 10C wont be reached until 11PM
  16. Low of 4C last night, lowest for the last two months, although as pointed out, we had much lower temps last year. So whilst the nights are milder, the daytime tempreatures are markedly cooler. Last October we had two unseasonably cold days at the start with 13C and 14C respectively here in Brentwodo, with lows of around 2C or even below, but it got mild, and then at the end of the month maxima ranged from 11-13C. Next week showing tempreatures in that range. Around 3-4C below average. weather+brentwood - Google Search WWW.GOOGLE.COM
  17. I don't mind the rain, because September here was very dry. Rain is okay in autumn. BBC and met office outlook suggesting outbreaks of what the bbc calls "a short-lived very cold northerly plunge, with widespread night frosts and even some sleet and snow showers". Maybe we will have a cold winter for once. Autumn is certainly shaping up nicely. I thought september would be a very warm month, but the cold at the end cancelled out the heat mid month and its marginally above average.
  18. Highs of just 10C here today, albeit minima at 8, one of the coldest October days here and definitely the coldest for this early in October. .
  19. are there any weather records broken in that part of central and eastern europe? seems like western europe is having colder than average weather whilst the east is having warmer than average. a change from where we were in mid september when western europe was exceptionally warm and the east was average or a little cooler.
  20. Just 11C maxima forecast for tommorow for me. Though minima at 9C. Noticing that whilst this is more prolonged than the cold snap we had at the start of october last year, we have had no frosts. The minima for september this month for me was 6C, whereas last year it was 1C, although that is unusually cold.
  21. Absolutely awful weather in london and essex today, has not stopped raining.
  22. Some of the maxima my area has seen in the last few days (12C) and will see later this week would be typical of November, never mind late September and early October! Not really that cold over night, but still its looking like a much colder outlook. I thought it would be a mild month.
