Crap here, a couple of dusty mm, and most of what's left of the showers heading north or south of me. Oh well, I wasn't expecting much from an easterly anyway!

Some very light flakes here in Telford. Mostly blowing sideways, but looks like a dusting on my car. The things we get excited about!

Met office app is giving me 80% chance of 3 hours heavy snow after the rain goes through Saturday night, make of that what you will! If nothing else it's going to be cold, I checked the Feels Like forcast and after Saturday night it doesn't go above -5 until Thursday!

Some of those streamers might even make it over me. Would be a shame if Sunday's low went further South so the SE got nothing but dry cold and we get all the showers

I feel your pain, I'm a bit further south in Telford and if it comes from the West the Welsh mountains eat it up, if it comes from the East the bloody Peninnes get it! Hoping a few cheeky showers get through, and covering should stick around for a few days at least.

I agree, all the snow charts I've seen for the weekend have a nice empty hole where Telford sits! The 2018 beast was pretty unremarkable here too. As much as the southerners would gnash their teeth I'd rather a nice cold NWly bringing showers through the Cheshire Gap.

Looks like show's over on Telford, just a light snizzle now. Oh well, last weekend was good!

Such a difference to last week. Then it was so cold that the dustiest flakes stuck instantly, this is just a grim sleety battle of attrition...
