  1. Well I think that's it for here, what a great spell of snow that was. Obviously we lost a lot in-between falls, but there must have been 15-20 cm overall.
  2. Chucking it down here again, everything covered. Looking at the radar this band is probably the last hurrah, but should go on for a while yet. Best of all my daughter's school has panicked and closed so I don't have to go out in it!
  3. If only the low was going to pivot a 100 miles or so further south, we'd be about to get buried!
  4. Better get out and enjoy what's left now, rainy doom is rapidly approaching!
  5. Snowman is built so it can all melt now! All in all a great snow day here, a shame it wasn't more widespread at lower levels for more to enjoy.
  6. Nice, must have been heavy enough for evaporative cooling or something. It was all rain for us in the end.
  7. Just drizzle here, but there's a very bright radar echo over us, so maybe it's just taking a while to fall?
  8. You're about to either get drenched or buried, it will be interesting to see which. The blob heading to me is smaller and fuzzier, I'm trying to hold onto hope that it will be at least sleet and not rain!
  9. Turning to a drizzly mix here now I think, and thawing off the trees fast, but it's definitely been a significant and memorable snow event here. Ironically my kids' school have decided to shut at 1, just as the worst is over!
  10. The stuff in Wales is probably rain already, you can see how sharp it looks on the radar compared to the smudgy looking stuff further north where the snow is. Be interesting to see if it changes to snow as it moves.
  11. Going to be a bit of a thud when this lot slides off my neighbours' solar panels!
  12. Proper snow here in Telford. Apologies to the snow starved!
  13. Getting plastered here, I'm surprised we're not in an Amber warning as the roads don't seem to be gritted and cars are struggling. Maybe it's worse in Telford than the surrounding areas because we're on a bit of a hill. The kids enjoyed the walk to school! I think this may top Dec 2017 for depth in my garden, it's like this now and still building.
  14. It really is quite deep in my garden. Such a shame it's going to thaw later, but can't really complain at this time of year. Walking the kids to school is going to be interesting to say the least...
  15. Snowing already here. Looks like the roads and pavements melted overnight, but they're covering back up quickly.
  16. Gutted those Welsh blobs decided to head east right before they got to me! Lucky for you lot in Leicester though.
  17. The lying snow has just started to sparkle here so I think it's finally dropped below freezing. Just need to get a good heavy burst of snow now haha
  18. Finally sticking a bit now, might eek out a couple of cm if there's anything left in the 2nd band when it arrives, shame it didn't stick earlier! I just hope whatever is falling in the morning is still snow at 8 AM, don't fancy walking the kids to school in icy rain...
  19. Bang on for me, shows just a dusting, got just a dusting Hopefully a bit more tonight...
  20. It's having a good go at sticking here now, unfortunately looking at the radar it looks like we've got a drier spell coming up, until the heavier stuff heading into Pembrokeshire hopefully makes it here later.
  21. Ain't that the truth! It's snowed non-stop since 8 this morning here, not so much a mm of accumulation to show for it...
