    It’s going to be a close shave tomorrow if I can get home from work at 5pm. Hoping it maybe holds off until late afternoon/early evening, but I could video the storm with my phone if anything happens while at work.

    Got my drone up earlier and I think I caught a flash or two. It may go back and forth with sporadic lightning for a little while, but that’s probably it for now.

    There were a few storms about but I think that the 60% storm chance from Netweather was over doing it a bit. Too much cloud cover probably inhibited most of development that could have occurred earlier.

    Calling it a day there. Just too much cloud about and not willing to travel all that way. Mainly got out to try the drone, looking forward to using it in the near future.

    Currently at Corringham, east of Gainsborough. Still lots of low cloud about but dark up ahead where those heavy showers are

    Wow I didn’t expect to wake up to the potential of supercells in Lincolnshire. Hope to at least see some decent cloudscape shots with the drone then.

    Heading out to Lincolnshire with my mate tomorrow to try out our new drone. Might count it as a mini storm chase if something occurs.

    Not a total bust today (work wasn’t on either which was a plus) but a bit underwhelming. MAH01024.mov Been thundering on and off from early morning to afternoon but all very weak, elevated storms. At least we get some decent rain.
