    Hopefully the west does get something. Slightly depressing when later models shift things East , as is more than not the case .

    Possibility of some high temperatures next week with a possible breakdown. A long way off and might not happen, but it will be discussed.

    Much more humid now here than it was a couple of hours ago.. BBC Weather still going with torrential thundery downpours this evening and overnight for much of southern England . Just hope it doesn't die too much before it reaches our shores

    Local ITV weather did mention possible storms for Devon and Somerset tonight , but I'm more interested in tomorrow. Hoping for more action in the afternoon as at work in the morn. Feeling quietly confident about tomorrow though. Got my hopes dashed to many times last year , so feel I'm due a good thunder event.

    Think I may be in a prime position for once. Would rather a dry walk to work in the morning , don't care about the way home. though. Local ITV weather gave out possible storms for somerset tonight aswell as Devon. Quick glance at the radar before bed tonight I think, just incase.

    I'm feeling fairly positive about this one , not often we get storm opportunities like this out in the west. Just hope I don't miss too much action as in work till 2 Friday afternoon. Looks good though none the less

    Not sure if the showers in Devon are going to go north of me but there has been lightning detected

    Looks like even Somerset might get something today judging by the radar. Whether anything thundery ,remains to be seen.

    Lots of fairly distant thunder here but black to my south so may get a fairly close storm shortly

    Can here distant thunder on and off. Dark skies to my east.. Storms following same path for a couple days now. Just don't seem to want to come this far West, apart from the one this morning

    Just watched everything go around me last night.. Some incredible lightning to my east though, which missed me by about 30 or so miles.. Hoping for something a little more overhead or at least so I can hear the thunder tonight.. Checked out the strike chart this morning and I'm the tiny little clear bit in between the strikes, ha,ha..

    I thought I previously heard that the storm risk was for Thursday night into Friday for the West Country? Does this still hold true and is the Friday night action going to be reserved for the eastern side of England. Sorry for twenty questions.

    I think unless you happen to live in Cornwall, you'll have to wait until tomorrow for anything thundery. Showers losing their intensity as they approach Devon.
