  1. JMA seems to back broadly the ECM evolution allbeit with a deeper shortwave.
  2. Possibly but it does not exactly tally with the GFS at that time, it looks little more progressive to me. Could be wrong.
  3. I do as well. UKMO and GFS may show great charts but personally I am very unhappy with that ICON output. A real spanner in the works. More like Arpege too. Hopefully it will ground others because this is not nailed.
  4. We survive on the UKMO and GFS, just about. Serious warning for anyone who thinks anything is nailed. :/
  5. This is fantastic and would see winds go northeasterly by 168 ICON also very good
  6. GEM is frustrating. Need to lose that shortwave southeast of Scandinavia. UKMO is fine. GFS is a drier run and overall less cold than previous but it is only one op run. Warning signs very much in the ballooning of the high. We have been here before...
  7. The March 2013 incursion had melt between showers, however, that was a month later than now. I would not expect, on current guidance, much melt. Everything would freeze over quickly after dark regardless. Even a little melt between showers would lead to more hazardous transport conditions.
  8. GFS - very good UKMO - ok, bit delayed GEM - Excellent ICON - Superb Need movement from the ECM this evening then confidence will be on the up.
