  1. Hi all, loving your photos. Well done. We tried tonight, with a tripod and varying seconds of exposure but they all showed movement. How do counter that ?

There was no word on casualties but images from the Turkish city of Izmir showed buildings that had collapsed.

  7. Didn't seem too dramatic here, but there was several lightening flashes and soft rumbles of thunder. I thought I heard small hail in the night but couldn't drag myself from a warm bed to check, lol Certainly very squally this morning. B.

  17. Enough of a direct hit to scupper the TV and Internet signal. Short bursts of torrential rain has been good for the garden. Poor dog is utterly terrified though and there's no comforting her. B.
