  1. looking forward to snow on monday followed by 70F+ a few days later according to some modelling
  2. some big storms in Germany this afternoon.....Look's like Munster's soon to be hit by a beast! https://www.stadt-muenster.de/medien/webcams/webcams-in-muenster-blick-ueber-muenster.html
  3. yep, I;m watching that from my back garden....its getting closer!
  4. New storms firing in lyme bay, from the south devon coast to weymouth....defo worth keeping an eye on NE of these to see how they develop!
  5. I can still see distant lightning from that multicell cluster near bournemouth to pompey.....and my eyes are drawn to that cluster of showers that have formed over south wiltshire, can they tap into enough energy and become electrified?
  6. lightning detector's going bonkers near you mate....Pompey and surrounding areas are right in the firing line
  7. 2 storms here....1st one violent with big hail (10p sized) gale force winds and frequent lightning....second one less wind.....uploading to you tube currently and will link here when done
  8. first distant rumble just heard.......a nice robust Cb is developing overhead as well, it was like watching a time lapse, I could actually see the Cb billowing out in real time!
  9. starting to get dark here as daylight fades, should be a good light show here soon
  10. blimey, went away from radar watching for an hour, came back, and it seems a dirty big muticell is heading my way, the northern edge is about 30 miles SSW of me.....can just make out the edge of the anvil in the haze....could be very interesting here in the next hour or two!
  11. for the OP.....if ever we need a homer simpson emoji!.... doh!
  12. from a 'french floppy' to an 'English channel errection' ......storm viagra wins every time
  13. pretty much the same here...lovely sunny afternoon now with scattered Ac Cas.....still in the game for later on!
  14. lovely development the past 30 mins....expect this lot to shift and grow NNE the next few hours
  15. and as if by magic and just to prove that the numpty known as 'ajpoolshark' needs to learn more, sferics detected over the brest peninsular heading for....yes, you've guessed it....the west country.....lololol
  16. steering flow is moving cloud/showers etc on an increasingly NE trajectory as opposed to a more northerly movement earlier today......not great for the west country it has to be said
  17. are you talking about the weather or your private life mapantz? first time that's happened since the 1958 world cup....lol ...still plenty of mid-level stuff here with heavy showers moving onshore 50 miles or so to my south
  18. thundery looking skies here, lots of thick Ac Cas and other assorted mid level cloud, but alas nothing exciting being generated
  19. hopefully we might see something tonight FB?......you're in a better position for a direct hit, hopefully I might get a distant light show if it's relatively clear
  20. this mid-level cloud/crud drifting northwards over the west country will probably have a big inhibiting effect on potential SB convection further north unless it breaks up
