  1. More WArning are still to come..... Pretty sure Scotland is getting an Amber Wind warning for Wednesday........Looks like no warning for the Region..... That is surprising.
  2. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/guide/weather/severe-weather-advice#Snow This link should be used for all Warnings.
  3. No warning have been updated yet...... Pretty sure Scotland will turn Amber soon!
  4. I work down the hill getting up Ripponden road at rush hour in the snow is something i have yet to do....
  5. Random number why not 225m Snow will get to low levels and under streamers it will settle away from the coasts
  6. Met office one that usually updates before the bbc has moorside down as sleet till 9am the snow..... it will change again no doubt
  7. Hope NWS dosent see the app updates...... On the other hand Met Office is predicting show showers to pow levels tonight and Tuesday.
  8. Downgrade is good i like my roof tiles where they are thank you. And it looks like ill get plenty of snow a double thumbs up from me
  9. Yes there was never really a cold spell for your kocation only ever on FI at 7 days plus away so there can be no shock that there has been a change after all your always telling people not to get sucked in..... i suppouse the only saving grace is that tge cold westerly is going to deliver snow for my location which was predicted almonst 10 days out. Not sure i like the look of the storm either but either a way a vwry wintry week coming up
  10. So wednesday night is either a storm with damaging winds and rain or a very small chamce if snow. Would rater see snow as its less destructive. Lookimg like a wintry e6 hourseither side of the low. Tge lows track is far from certain
  11. Warnings will come in the morning for our region. Wont really start in our region till tuesday morning and then later in the day for lower areas. Looks good foor moorside as you say.... might be a decent total by Friday after which temps really plummet
  12. Seems reasonable for coastal locations. Any runners could give you a rather larger fall of snow depending on track, so its worth watching. Regardless of the snow there are going to be some lifely showers accompanied by some strong gust of wind.
  13. At the risk of being a little silly where are the post showing low level on shore snow cover?
  14. Allow a 50% melt factor and i reckon that will be about right by Friday.
  15. That is not matching up with other Sites...... All use GFS..... Like XCweather. for example
  16. Strong westerly winds, sunny spells and occasional sleet, hail and snow showers will lead to winter conditions across this hills. Icy surfaces are likely, and whilst accumulations will mostly be above the freezing level, of around 200m, some snow is possible to valley floors during heavier bursts.
  17. I don't need your Guarantee....... But when you say it won't look nothing like that what do you actually mean. The distribution of snow looks right to me considering the direction of the wind.
  18. Snow Depth at day 8*..... Only after this chart do things get interesting. Yes we know the GFS overplays the 850's Yes we know snow charts are useless 24 hours away Yes we know something else that you want to say about Southern England and how warm it will be. But we can take from this run is, the potential is there fro snow as early s Monday night how much and how low is to be confirmed.
