  1. Flash, rumble and heavy rain.......just as I'm about to head out if the door for work
  2. Hi guys and girls. I'm as excited as any of you but can we keep this about the model descussions. Ramping thread is here http://forum.netweather.tv/topic/78466-the-winter-201314-ramping-thread/page-4 Or there is always banter, where anything goes (within reason)
  3. Winds really picking up. Mr Loo says that they are all along the seafront watching the waves
  4. Huge sounding storm coming in from the South West. Lightening out to sea
  5. Awful here. According to the radar it should be clearing soon but the rain is coming in sideways from the West. Fence has detached itself from next doors conservatory and being held up by our covered bench. Recycling doing the Hokey cokey around the garden
  6. Morning all and happy new year Heavy rain and wild winds or the third night running. Getting a bit tired of this now
  7. How is the river looking down in Newton Pop? Looked about level yesterday but reckon it will burst with this rain
  8. Not lost, just giving you lot a heads up of what is coming your wayYou should know by now us lot in the South West test drive most of the weather for the South EastSeriously though, I would urge people to take care. The ground is saturated and we have just had a lot of rain which is heading your way. Keep an eye on the squall line at the front, it may fizzle out but it was intense when it hit
  9. Blimey, that's not good. Another night of wind and rain and it's all heading over your way. Anyone with a risk of flooding should really take precautions to minimise risk of damage I.e. get all those photos upstairs!
  10. Had another night of strong winds and rain. The rain was very intense earlier, with a bit of a squall line going through. Brief respite but looking at the radar it will start again soon. Looking at the local river levels yesterday I would say we will have a few bursting their banks by now
  11. Winds easing with less powerful gusts but now we have even heavier rain than before. There will be lots of flooding later for sure. Might have a swing by the sea front shortly
  12. I don't envy you. You would be in the next street if you tried to get on our roof at the moment.
  13. What a night/morning. Sound like the roof is going to come off and there is no let up. Glad I'm not going to work today. I imagine there will be some trees down after this
  14. Well I hope you like it windy. Had non-stop strong to gale force winds all night over in the South West and still wild out there with no let up at the moment
  15. Wild winds here, doubt I will be able to get to sleep in the next hour or so. Sounds like the roof is going to take flight
  16. Merry Christmas to everyone. Have a great one Peace and goodwill to all..........who post in the Model discussion
  17. If you have what we had earlier then I can understand your concern. Was scary earlier, mind you we have phase two
  18. Sustained wind seems to be stronger than before but without the scary super gusts. This is like a normal strong storm but on top of earlier and with all that rain coming in it's going to cause some problems tomorrow
  19. As requested I have opened this topic so people can post charts and data to keep everyone up to date with the current situation. Please could we try to stick to technical discussion on here and use the other thread to let people know about current conditions etc Ta very muchly
  20. Road from the Hare & Hounds down to Ottery, not sure what it's called. The roads around Sidbury are all flooded and Honiton High Street shut due to slates coming off roofs
  21. Aparently Honiton Highstreet is closed due to lots of slates coming off the roofs
