  1. Looks like hopefully a decent sized shower is about to hit darlo by about 6.20- 6.30. If it does first snow of winter. If anyone is awake in darlo could they confirm this as I'm currently in Stockton at work and won't be back home until about 8 am.
  2. If the chart above comes to fruition we could be looking at some quite high December temps. Maybe even record breaking. Good job it's the GFS and at 192 lol so unlikely to happen. I do personally think it will be game over by Saturday just not the extreme heat the GFS has modelled.
  3. By 192 on the GFS it's barbecue time. A shock to the system after 10 days of bone dry cold. Also I've just seen the bbc seven dayer and they say all over by next Saturday as well. Probably best we just accept it and hope to get a reload for new year.
  4. Not great this morning if its extension to the cold you are after. All done and dusted by 168 on the gfs. It's actually over by next Saturday actually. Probably double digits by a week on Monday. I'm actually not too bothered as this 'cold' spell has delivered nothing but a frost so far and we've been in it a few days already.
  5. Some quite intense showers there if they are slow moving enough could drop a couple of centimetres. A couple of centimetres would probably last until next Sunday at least. That's all I want really.
  6. Looks like that shower will hit just north of Hartlepool then maybe drift over to Bishop that's assuming it doesn't just dissipate as soon as it hits land.
  7. I don't think there is much chance for our region tonight. The main band of showers is stuck in Aberdeenshire and doesn't seem to be moving. Oh well the hunt continues.
  8. Tantalisingly close now but I just don't think they have our name on them. Hope I'm wrong though. Literally only about 80 miles off shore do you think?
  9. So seems like our cold spell shows signs of coming to an end next weekend. I just hope more people get to see some snow. I think we will be relying on small features popping up at short notice because the next week looks to be bone dry away from Eastern facing coasts.
  10. A rubbish start to this 'cold spell', the wind is due to start veering more easterly in a couple of days I think so hopefully something better on the horizon. Nothing worse than cold rain though
