Below normal doesn't necessarily mean cold enough for snow. Personally I don't think I can stomach another lengthy marginal event of long distance non verification charts. Rather see some promise of an early spring.

I totally agree with this. As a lad I can remember many winters with good snowfall even in my unlikely and unfavourable location. To emphasise I have a son of 30 years who has probably never seen more than 3 inches of snow in his lifetime.

This model watching is an absolute joke. Does any one seriously believe that's what promised will actually materialise. Ive been a member now for ten years and have noticed that year on year the output gets progressively worse. Regarding snow when by sheer chance they actually all agree (two or three days prior to the event) we are then told we need this to go south,we need this to go east, its too marginal, plus another thousand variables that are going to ruin it lol, and something always does. Its a comedy really. But being the eternal optimist like so many others I troll the forums hoping for a favourable outcome only to be cruelly disappointed by the next chart 4 hours later. I really need to find a new hobby. If I had a pound for every misleading chart over the last ten years I would be a millionaire.

ECM has low hitting Wed to Thurs. next week but im not convinced about those uppers.

Those little bags of silicon that come with purses etc. Seriously if you have a few of them place in a container with the phone. Ive heard that the effect of drawing moisture from the phone is ten times more effective than rice etc. Ive heard that many a phone dropped in water has been revived by this method. Its worth a try. Totally agree. Too many coldies on the MOD thread are constantly reaching out into the depths of far FI searching for the outcome that they want to see. I have to applaud their supreme optimism but sadly for those of us that not experienced enough to read the charts their misguided optimism always leads to our disappointment and understandable pessimism. All hopecasters should be banned lol. A lot of their posts are totally misleading.

I totally agree with the sentiments expressed on here from snow loving members of this area including myself. Year after year we cling to the hype that the models spew out only to be repeatedly kicked in the teeth. Its no wonder that we have evolved to be extremely cynical lol.

I think the weather god in my garden must have had extractions. Atropical 6.2 at present.

I agree ,and still posting charts 7 or 8 days hence which never materialise. One thing ive learnt from many years of this is the BBC forecasts 3 or 4 days in advance are far superior.
