I'm confident your going to enjoy tomorrow Adam, not so sure about me...
Extremely cold tonight but with this band coming tomorrow I think I may be in the wrong location for the whole band to fall as snow. However, I do believe I will see some snow tomorrow no matter what.
Jeez it's so cold tonight I can't believe how tomorrow will get as mild as 7 in parts of 'West Wales' as BBC forecasted.
-
-2C here, rare for the coast, can't believe it will rain saturday night
Only -2? It's minus 6 here and I'm like 6 miles to Pembrey at minus 3
-
if it IS me but I'm not sure please help
Shaun what do you mean by what?
Sorry didn't understand what you mean...
Precip is likely to clear for tis evening... maybe one or two showers but pffft crap
-
Has the snow gone back down south on the radar or is it just me?
What?
-
I'm not too far from the sea and the dew point here is currently -4C (S Wales).
I hope it can stay below freezing when the front arrives...
Where exactly are you? Bridgend?
-
I would have subscribed to Extra JACKONE but I missed the winter offer... I should take notice of things more
-
Good map back there. I think intially most of the southern coast will have dew's above freezing, so rain possibly but quickly turning to snow the further east.
-
BBC Wales snow for some over weekend, but not much for Newport, Cardiff and Swansea, but a pasting for the north despite the Graphics showing snow for a time at least in all places from the frontal band coming down.and heavy snow over Swansea on Sunday.
I remember similar forecast a number of years ago showing no more than a dusting of snow for us, and we had over 4 inches.
Dereck's day time temps seemed a tad high for my liking
Predicting 7 degrees in parts of West Wales
-
So sorry but no chance of 5c max of 2c all day possibility of 3 in west wales.
As I said GFS over does it
-
12z seems okay, but again, that initial Precipitation will probably be rain/sleet except in the north of Wales. I got a feeling it will readily and quickly turn to snow for all of Wales. Maybe coastal locations may suffer a little.
West Wales could be up to 5 Degrees (I heard GFS over does coastal a bit).
Dew points should fall quickly with South East Wales last to get those Dew Points down.

Thanks for your thoughts Adam, I do agree with the showers before Sturday night.
-
-
I'm no expert but the line of precipitation streching from Newport, Wales to East Anglia is moving West-ish and Newport could seem something I think?
-
theres a lovely dirty snow cloud building up on the mountains to the east of my house, nothing yet though, but thats being too hopeful!!
What's your location mate?

Dyna beth oeddwn i'n mynd i ddweud, Rhybudd am ia ac nid eira
That's what i was going to say warning of ice and not Snow
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/wl/wl_forecast_warnings.html?day=3
God sake, got excited and a bit more hopeful for about 30 seconds until I read.
Hopefully the wind will become more Northely as soon as possible... if this happens I have a good feeling there will be some showers,
-
Now That was my initial fought, I'm not a pessimist maybe it's the Met that are handling the situation rather poorly who knows i mean that shower in Portablbot etc would have warranted a warning in the South East, I think I'll start an Anti Met office group . Tomorrow shall tell i suppose let's hope the band is delayed an hour or so hence increasing the chances of it being snow from the offset.
Hmm if that made its way down here I would eat my hat unlikely IMO. Waht about the showers to the West tonight?
Good idea with the group but I think BBC are worse as you said! It's disgusting, they go through the day showing South East then quickly skim over the rest of the UK.
-
Even them showers are being played down now? NOT good at all.
Agh dissapointed here Adam, clear now and probably for the rest of the day.
There is a system/lump of precip up over Scotland... I don't know what that's doing ...
www.raintoday.co.uk - take a look Adam (PM system not working  again )

BBC showing potential blizzard on Tuesday:
Can't see that image because of the college's firewall. Stupid thing.
Any frozen snow arounf over the Beacons? anyone?
-
Not sure what to make of this cold spell anymore.
I think so far an overall disspointment...
We'll see what happens on the weekend.
Don't you feel sorry for all these people going out tonight in their mini-skirts... awww
Nice sunny sky's here.
-
Watching the radar closely now as there seems to be a longer spell of snow coming
Come on lets have a litte teaser before the big thing
Doesn't look very intense at all
-
Looks like they had a covering
Currently on the radar there is a shower which quite looks intense, heading for Carmarthenshire. I hope it makes it.
-
Nice Snow in Port Talbot on the BBC news reporter.
-
Wow, blizzard outside. Everything is white, even the roads.
Alright alrigh, jesus, it's not as if your making me jealous now.
Haha, have fun.
-
NW Rain radar has been 'playing' up again for me over the afternoon.

Yes Feb 2009 was great.... and greatly unexpected thanks to BBC and MetO.
and yes, like many have said BBC with 7 Degrees tomorrow is doubtful.
What's the chances of showers coming in between now and tomorrow evening's system?
