    GFS is à cracker for sustained settled spell kicking in this weekend. The op has full support from the GEFS for à large pressure rise over the uk. Hopefully the ECM will go the same way.

    Thankfully the ECM sticks with the very settled conditions starting next weekend and à country mile different from the GFS

    Not much support for low pressure around Norway on the GFS Oslo ensemble, so hopefully thé GFS is wrong.

    Massive difference between the ECM 12z and the GFS 0z. The GFS is unsettled and cool where the ECM was settled and warm. At day 10 the ECM had a 1040mb high over us the GFS has a 996mb low. Lets hope the 0z ECM doesnt go with the GFS.

    ECM hold the Atlantic trough further North West at day ten than the GFS buy no réal late Spring warmth in the overnight runs.

    The GFS 0z looks cyclonic throughout with the odd better day. The pressure build has gone to be replaced by cool north westerlies.

    It maybe quiet on this thread poster wise, but plenty are tuning in looking for accurate model appraisal as we search for warmth. So thanks to those sticking to the moderator brief.

    Aye, great news mushy, we could all do with some warmth and we have cross model agreement for that to occur over the weekend. There will be rain in the North west but the grass could do with it.

    Currently one degree celsius here, snow still a foot deep in the garden on the first of April. Crazy

    Im continuing to catch the edge of those beefy South Down snow streamers. Downpatrick must be doing well.

    Snow weather warning issued for South and East Down. Im right on the edge of the warning, very localised.

    Another bitter morning. Temperature -2.0c, light snow falling again. Cleared roads covered white again.

    Not confident that the attempted breakdown later this week will get this far North. Maybe increase a little more instability in the flow to generate some showers.

    I feel like im living in Finland or such like. Snow piled up everywhere, freezing wind, light snow flurries. Amazing.
