    I highly doubt Yorkshire will get 30c on Tuesday in fact anywhere except maybe Ireland. Tomorrow 30c most likely in West Midlands or the West Country but this chance about 15% IMO. 29c likely.

    Yes were still forecast to be at 20c at 2AM!! Minimum of 18-19c expected. Parts of Cornwall will be no lower than 20-21c tonight. Remarkable!

    All stations round here were at least 28c today. I noticed on Wunderground that the max seemed more like 26/27c when searching stations in Staffordshire. Probably a bit of UHI effect here to help things along - I seem to be helped a little by being in a pretty heavy urban area and also being in a bit of a dip compared to surrounding land, sheltering a bit from the wind etc.

    Yep ECM is cracking again. Especially for Southern and Central areas, any rain will be extremely limited and temperatures always in the 20s and then further signs this evening that high pressure could make a renewed push at some point. No real breakdown in sight tbh. This could be the start of a long run of consecutive days in the 20s me thinks.

    Pretty much 29c now. Remember I'm in an urban zone so will enhance temps slightly. All stations near here at least 28c it seems.

    It's going to be very close. I don't doubt the 28c at all. A very reliable station down the road in Harborne is at 28c too pretty much!

    Just looking back at my weather station, a high of 26.8c today so just shy of the 27c. My guess for today, Sunday is 29.2. Not quite close enough to the 30c but could happen if we are really lucky!

    Lovely and pleasantly warm here. Not overly humid. Tomorrow night onwards it will get pretty sticky though with 16-17c mins here. Incredible GFS again with the heat going well past next weekend again though I do fancy the cooler more unsettled option after next Sunday though. Really quite something this spell of heat though in the light of the last summers. Shows it can happen! Maybe this is the start of a pattern change though probably not.

    Gem12z also going for a rapid cool down next Sunday. All far off but no sign this evening of the high rebuilding and shifting east as touted earlier.

    The CFS is a horrow show for the second half If July and the first half of August with troughs slap bang over us. Thankfully it is flipping an awf lot between that and more Azores high pressure spells. Meanwhile I feel most models are starting to think the high pressure ending in about 8-10 days time though could all change still. Next weekend uncertain. GFS seems more keen to back the high west rather than east but still this spell has only just begun and loving t already so enjoy!
