    Indeed Azores, we couldnt have been worser placed if we tried. However Lightning from the storm to my North is becoming more frequent again. Noctornal cooling?

    Yep all decaying now. Even the storm to my North seems to be weakening. Some nice CG's seen though. But to my south where it matters, nothing. Could have been so much better.

    Finally I can see the CG lightning to my North and hear the thunder. Snoozefest actually over us though.

    Ugghh, no sferics in Worcestershire now. The stuff around Gloucester will go to our East! haha.

    TYPICAL! We look to be heading straight into the significantly weaker zone in Herefordshire and Worcestershire now.

    Latest radar suggests some weakening now around Worcester. Hopefully nocturnal cooling will help but probably wont.

    Cant believe how close things are yet nothing heard or seen yet. A little darker to my West but nothing amazing.

    As expected, latest radar showing things starting to die off especially around Worcester now, where it matters most for us. Shame.

    Showers behind the front rapidly decaying now over Wales. Hopefully the cold front provides extra forcing for a while yet but its moving painfully slow.

    Hmm seems to be becoming a slightly larger group of rain now - could weaken overall activity. Lightning seems to be on the decrease a touch.

    Fantastic to see W Kernow enjoying some storms. Thankfully looks like me may soon get some here back in the W Mids.

    The skies are a dark grey to my North but elsewhere a lovely summers evening. :lol: Hurry up and move East!

    Cant believe whats been described of these storms :lol: We are so close but youd never know what was happening to the west and oop north of here.

    Come on storms, hurry up before they probably fade. Nocturnal cooling never seems to have been a help this year. Meto seems to suggest showers throughout this region overnight though.

    Absolutely nothing here, no rain. Line of storms to the West just hope they can edge East but fading daylight and lowering temperatures is a concern.

    Nothing bar a few drops here. Better skies though and hoping the thundery activity in S Wales and the SW may live into here but that's a big ask and things will probably quieten down soon. I don't think I've heard if any storms this year where nocturnal cooling has been a boost?

    Good luck Bish. To be in kernow right now, so much heavy rain and thunder already reported in Truro! Yeah we had a little rain/hail too for about 30 seconds but that's it for today probably. Showers further SW look fairly weak.

    Yeah will pass just east of here. Doesn't look exciting anyway but watch it explode around Leicester anyway.
