  1. My view is excellent to the East and North East, towards Birmingham way. However my road also has excellent views towards Clent and North Worcestershire.
  2. If your looking on meteociel then take note that the times are in European time and thus I believe 11pm on the charts actually equates to about 9pm here so from a plume event id say the CIN develops at a bad time to affect storm development im afraid.
  3. Looks like plenty of Cape on Thusday but people must not fall for this. You need to look at the other parameters. There looks to be very little ppn indicating too much CIN capping storms from breaking out hence why there isnt really any thundery risk for the rest of this week imo.
  4. Excellent photos Bish! Christ thats some downpour! As echoed by Andixx some really loud thunder and good lightning and biblical rain reported here mid this afternoon. Even when I was up in Chester, the cloud structures were by far the best and cleanest ive seen this year. Classic day!
  5. Haha. I dont suppose when you say Curry house you mean Kaben at the top end of the high street if you have ever been through their before. Only voted one of the best curry houses in the Stourbridge area.
  6. Hello! Fantastic to have another local on board here! Im pretty much near Quarry Bank too.
  7. Typical the day I go oop north (rare!!!), the day it thunders! Was up in Chester. We did have a little thunder though but nothing compared to here it sounds!
  8. Pretty black to my south but are there any sferics on show? Of course not.
  9. Think it briefly rained once this afternoon. Shocking forecast again. Poor.
  10. It all seems too messy. Very pulse type. Just the odd sferic here and there.
  11. Yes I know there has been a little but nothing on the scale of what was forecast thus similar to a couple of years back.
  12. These 'thundery rain' events where there is a huge mass of rain rarely deliver. Ive seen these in the past thus im not surprised tonight. Very similar to May a couple of years back. Lots of heavy rain up from the south but nothing else despite forecasts of thunder.
  13. Well nothing set in stone but charts playing around with another plume event. ECM is against this more so though. This would be for mid to late next week.
  14. Haha reading all this is quite funny. Quite funny to watch the French storms yet again look at Kent and go, haha lets not bother and tour over to BeNeLux instead!
  15. Oh come on, have you already forgotten Tuesday? Drove through some torrential rain near Shrewsbury around 4.30pm.... Anyway looks like lots of rain tonight and thundery potential tomorrow. Charts beyond look very exciting.
  16. Right now I'd be feeling disappointed if I were in the east but lots of time yet.
  17. Sorry earlier I meant Staffordshire as a county. It caught the early storm well but didn't perhaps seem to catch the second longer one as such like we did. Still a superb morning, more than I expected actually. These storms have a habit of coming here in the morning at the moment. Very tired now!!! However not an awful lot going on elsewhere in the country bar a couple of storms so this far as in daylight today we seem to have some of the best storms so far, certainly the most prolonged!!!
  18. All seems to be clearing now. Looks like Staffordshire missed out on the Majority of this one.
  19. Indeed, whilst I'd say it never got too severe here, pretty prolonged to say the least. Very happy and it's getting worse now as I type!
  20. Still occ lightning here. If the Gloucester cell stays at is then expect one more burst of intense rain around here!
