Had to drive down to Horley from Reigate this evening. Usual accident on the a217 has closed the road. Unbelievably cold out of the car - flurries of snow being blown in the biting wind but nothing of note.

Clouds are a little less fluffy and slightly darker but still some excellent sunshine here... I assume horley has snow though... ?

Feb 2009 as well I think -
I don’t think we will get all that much in Surrey but I am willing to be surprised! my brother in law is flying into Gatwick early Saturday morning - I wonder what will happen then!

Yes, another cm or two has made it look very pretty out there. Despite the lack of snow, this is still the snowiest since 2013!

Horley had better not get it! ? indeed, I was quite impressed how much snow came from that afternoon shower. Just picked up the mini damson from beavers and the car said it was -5 - the pavements were lethal! Maybe you will need those crampons Martyn!
-
Let’s hope so! on another note, please can people put their locations in the main body of their post - we can’t see your locations in mobiles! ?

^ that will be fun to land planes in! in Reigate, we probably have around an inch now - perishing out of the sun - ok if it’s sunny!
