  1. I use the Reigate grammar school weather station - there's probably a weather station near you that you can use... Current temp is 3.5c - dew -0.2c
  2. Iceni, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  3. Drizzling at Nymans, an nt property near Handcross... Still having a great time with the kids though!
  4. I'm over towards Earlswood lakes... Looked out of the front door and it's definitely proper snow now - sadly the ground is now too wet for much of it to settle...
  5. Whereabouts are you? I'm in Woodhatch and it's just changed from sleet to wet snow - you are right - I bet it's fun driving on the m25 on Reigate hill atm!
  6. Yes, I agree - this is the last day for some time (at least a week) where there should be marginal conditions! We had a dusting this morning...
  7. Looking at today's forecasted temps - the snow was never going to last... I think it's going to be a miserable drizzly sort of day... Current temps at Reigate Grammar 0.9c - dp of 0.2c
  8. How right you were! Have just woken up to a dusting in Reigate
  9. I have a friend who lived in Maine in the US - she got to work in this...
  10. Way into FI but it's good to see the -10 isotherm crossing the North sea! http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rtavn1562.gif
  11. Gfs 12z is giving our area 1s and 2s as top temp on Sunday...
  12. Currently 4.9c dp 2.4c in Reigate - advertised temps about right here... Let's hope we can get rid of this 'less cold' sector soon!
  13. It's obviously a change from what the ECM 32 dayer was saying with potential for HLB in weeks 3 and 4 (ie weeks 2 and 3 of feb...)
  14. Coming into work there's definitely more snow on Reigate hill...
  15. The GFS ensembles keep us in the cold until at least 7th Feb - the op is towards the upper end at that stage... Many keep the cold uppers until the 9th at least and then there's much scatter - most off the milder options are likely high pressure?
  16. Don't be too downhearted - the models have extended the cold spell until the end of next week at the earliest - Id be surprised if we didn't see any more snow!
