  1. Well according to the GFS I don't think it's "Game Over" - yet - as far as the 25th is concerned - Nine days off and thats as far as i'm looking.
  2. Grassington today. 48 Mile out from Salwick - there in an hour and a bit.Lying snow from Mellor to Cltheroe 3" in Grassington looking over to Malham Moor - not exactly iceaxeandcrampons needed but it was good to get out and freshen up.Then on to Threshfield - Woodburner Soup and Beer. Lovely.

METO Cumbria has snow falling today as a graphic - Sat ppn is down to 1200ft TODAY Mountain weather forecast Cold and very windy with occasional wintry showers SATURDAY Mostly cloudy with wintry showers. Snow mainly above 300m. Strong to gale force west or southwest winds over the tops with a severe wind chill and temporary blizzard conditions. Freezing level 400 to 700m.
  12. Exciting? - well looking at Thursdays pressure ensemble the phrase "Cabin Up" springs to mind
  13. Well - looking at that - this weekend is the only shot to get out in anything wintery and that's if you can stay on your feet.From then on as regards pressure the only way is up.
