    As usual it looks like the South/ SE is once again getting the best of the "summer" weather. Don't worry it's been rubbish over Cheshire all day too and knowing the way things work round here, prob more of the same tomorrow

    Same old. Grey, overcast and blustery. No rain. 6c. Horrible.

    Pessimistic maybe, but my gut feeling is that it's going to be worse than last years. Wouldn't be surprised if we don't top 18-20c in June on current form. Wind has eased now and drier but still unseasonally cold. 9c

    We are under a hail shower now, and the wind has whipped up. Temp dropped to 6c. Absolutely horrible conditions at any time of the year....but Late May...?!

    Disgusting weather for late May. We've currently got hail and the temp dropping fast. There hasn't been one evening this year where past six pm It's been comfortable to sit out in shirt sleeves....absolutely dire and only due to get worse I fear.

    12.5c (I'm pessimistic, but on May's current form round here....wouldn't be surprised.) Went for 12.5...you can tell how cheesed off us Cheshire lot are atm!

    100% overcast (again), dull but dry. 8.5c but feeling a fair bit colder in a brisk Northerly wind. Definitely not feeling like the tail end of May.

    Another (yet another) non-descript start to the day. 100% Overcast, dull and feeling cool. 9c. Some light rain overnight but nothing of note.

    Just had a sharp (but brief) shower of hail about 15 minutes ago. That's cause for excitement in these storm starved parts!

    Starting to get a build up of cloud here but it's the usual boring stuff, and the temperatures dropped from this morning. Nothing doing here today I'm afraid (again,lol)

    Feel your pain brother, trust me....although we do have some clear sky and sunshine right now, and temps seem to be nosing up and some mild convection visible to my east...locking and loading the SLR....just in case.

    Heavy and at times torrential rain in the night, now with squally showers and feeling cold. 7c Image was taken 7:57am this morning. Never seen a day in mid-May quite like this! Don't think much improvement on cards for later today either! 11:10am brightening a little and rain has eased-fingers crossed!

    Image taken at 07:57am 15:05:13 Heavy rain through the night (torrential at times) now easing, but still with squally showers. Very overcast and dreary, some cars still with headlamps on. Feeling cold too, currently 7c but feeling colder in the wind. Definitely not a typical mid-May scene!

    11c, moderate rain since about 9am, very overcast and dank. Very unpleasant.

    We had a very short flurry of sleety rain at about 3pm. Brightened a little now (though still cloudy) and warmed up from before.

    Bright start but horrible weather out there now, considering time of year. Gusty wind driving intermittent squally showers and feeling much colder than it should do at this time of year in the wind! Currently dry and 13c, with cloud. Can't remember a May day quite as unseasonal as this! (Can post pics for proof. No doubt ten miles up the road is basking in blazing sunshine and 20C+..............)
