looks like only a topper i’m afraid,turning very much milder again after next Sunday according to the latest bbc forecast.They have extra model data i presume to come to that conclusion ,over a week away ?

that we get a proper decent easterly in the depth of winter months not march like this year and 2013,imagine how frigid it would have been if it had happened in early jan

yes frosty could be some early season snow for hilly areas soon,is this the winter that finally delivers

Some lovely weather on the cards for the foreseeable,but chilly nights. No sign of a raging Atlantic yet,that can happen as we head towards October The golf season continues well in to Autumn this year Go Tiger And looking like great weather for Ryder Cup starting Friday .

Regional forecast says temps back to average for weekend ,National says feeling humid at weekend.Always a difference between the two I notice.Also they have an error as they are showing only the uk’s highest lowest temperature yesterday for the UK and the regional values.Why no highest maximum temperature yesterday ,happened before too.

Sounds like my kind of winter,and I think the summers are nice ,not too hot perfect for golf.Going to retire there I hope ,in the future

Winters are normally rubbish ,hardly ever cold enough for long lasting snow .Maybe once in a blue moon we get a decent cold snowy winter.dark by 4pm and usually wet and mild and windy is winter in U.K. HORRIBLE

Thought summer finished 31st August writing off three weeks of summer at end of first week ,since when has any computer model been accurate after a few days ahead.People think the virtual weather world is the real one

Yes hot till Wednesday ,but even after that doesn’t look very wet or unsettled for a lot of the country,despite what some posters would have you believe earlier this week with all this talk of low pressure and rain for next week for most.

Guess the end of the amazing summer had to come to an end some time Frosty,Having said that sill a possibility of hot conditions returning after Mid month,looking at various model output and the met office forecast using their seasonal computer models.Im also intrigued by this winter coming,IF we get bitterly cold continental air crossing the above normal SST in North Sea ,that would lead to huge convective snow showers moving in from the E,still that’s in the future lol,still turning hot over the weekend and early next week.

Just the same in the winter months too,never hardly agree.Still no sign of any prolonged unsettled weather in the models,despite what some seem keen on good news for the holiday season and the outdoor sports enthusiasts .Be keeping keen eye on the models to see if they still going for the mega temps in Portugal ,125f ,in the shade
