  1. Look at that cold pool,we getting close to hitting the -20 hpa on this run, amazing
  2. Op ecm was a mild run from its ensemble pack I doubt it will verify at all how it is showing,so don’t panic
  3. It feels cold already, yet the uppers will be much lower by the end of the weekend BRRRR
  4. I can’t see location only on my pad not phone, yes it’s mainly people from NW that keep moaning ,the NW U.K. is the worst place to be for Easterlies ,so why they keep moaning I do not know, they always appear some posters if there is any sign of a downgrade from the models,as if they hope other places further east will miss out,so pathetic!
  5. The met office have not changed their outlook one bit,the model runs are the same in the RELIABLE timeframe give up ,how can you think they have changed, which forecasts are you look at then.
  6. What are you talking about, read the met office text forecast for our region !!!
  7. A bitterly cold Easterly airstream below -10hpa as is shown on the models hitting the U.K. by about sun into Monday ,crossing the relatively warm North will more than likely produce snow showers on the East and SE coasts from Monday and spreading further inland as it’s looking fairly windy too.The stronger the wind the further inland the snow showers will penetrate inland. The high res models will be picking up on this soon,so,it’s best to follow them in a couple of days time.
  8. Be interesting to see how close the ecm chart at 168 actually looks like at t 0 so I’m saving it. It looks very odd anyway, the way it suddenly drops down and rotates from the excellent looking t144 chart, will look very different next run I would imagine
  9. What charts are you looking then if you don’t think the uppers are not very cold sun into mon then ,unreal comments in here as usual
  10. Ecm was One of the warmest runs out of the entire set,not a surprise
  11. Feels bitter already lol,at least models agree the sub zero air arriving Monday after that it’s still open to lots of uncertainty,i very much doubt the ECM Op has a handle on things later on,it’s been junk most the winter Was it not showing UK in mild SW winds when the other models were showing the start of the Easterly trend in their later output a week or so back I seem to recall
  12. lol yes a strange comment.takes two hours to clean a bucket, what was in it that made you have to spend two hours to get rid of it,do tell everyone
  13. not long now that this easterly will be coming in to the much more reliable time frame,if it's going to go wrong then it will have to show up in the next series of runs later today, get through that and we are almost there.once it get to 72 hours away, the high res models will be able to pick up the areas which will first get to see the snow. though eventually most will have seen falling and lying snow incredibly exciting times ahead and even historic .let the fun and games begin soon.
  14. Yep everyone at works says I’m talking rubbish,it never snows here at end of feb they keep saying. seem to forget mid March 2013 and the snow then. NVM perhaps Susan Powell is correct and no snow next week then at all.
  15. Unreal forecast ,people think their be no snow next week if the see that forecast
  16. Met office on twitter show the bitter air moving across us on Sunday with high of 1c in London Monday, bit more like it ohh the bbc don’t use the met office ,no wonder there forecast are so different.
  17. Hehe I, ordered new sledge, weather station ,new camera to make sure everything is recorded for historic purposes. Bring it on....
  18. Dry according to BBC weather, btw I can’t find that update on their site still showing earlier forecast
  19. Bbc online forecast next week biting winds frosts, but DRY How on earth do they come to that conclusion, bitterly cold uppers crossing the relatively warm North Sea and all next week is going be dry. Lets review that forecast in a weeks time ,because it’s frankly ridiculous I’m going to tweet the forecaster ,Susan Powell how she comes to that conclusion . i tweeted bbc weather see if they reply
  20. Bitterly cold air waiting to move in at the end of that forecast though ,looking on the map
  21. Too far out to worry yet looks of options for later on,low pressure could stall because of the dense cold air bringing blizzards for many ,anything is possible.
  22. Bbc weather online just now, winds from Siberia next week turn bitter with snow looks like it’s game on time to prepare
