    Going the way of the gem I think now the most amazing run I,ever ever seen .

    Think this gfs run is going to amazingly wintry looking at it so far not going towards ECM at all

    That’s amazing for this time of year,give it another 24 hours and it’s game on for us folk in the SE at least,hope gem is leading the way today. That gem model run is truly epic for the SE, many places would be cut-off if it verifies like that,amazing run.

    Icon looks good at 120 with the bitter cold waiting in the wings ,and better than ecm at same timeframe

    Gem is the pick this morning daytime max temps of about -3c next week in places if it verifies. dont see how people can be downbeat when charts like this are popping up for just one week away snow showers piling in from the east with strong and bitter E winds,causing drifting too,bring it on

    Ecm Op right at the top end of the pack in the reliable time frame,not a surprise really

    As you say it hasn’t happened yet,and the ECM has performed poorly this winter. lets see where it sits in its ensembles,bet it’s at the top end again

    I’m doing list of things I need to do before the freeze arrives,all weather related of course Going to wait another 24 hours just in case the ECM is on the correct path,even though it’s been performing rubbish this winter. Met are still onboard so fingers crossed P.S where is SM thought he going ballistic with what the models are showing,but he seems to have stopped posting,strange.

    Plenty of time for correction Nortwards,the ECM has performed pretty badly for our region of the Northern Hempishere this winter for some reason .gfs and rest of the models look much better

    Lol this run is going to Get ,many places Buried are going tunder inches of snow it’s insane some unbelievable comments in here also ,how can some be so negative after what the charts show,gem would get half the country cut off with snow and ice days too. hate the negativity in here sometimes when it looks so exciting,and chance of an historic period of weather. I said chance ok

    Thought hammonds a cold ramper ,obviously not then,anyway many people will be digging themselves out of their homes if this gfs run anywhere near verifies!

    Unreal charts snow be piling up in the east with towering snow drifts by now I would imagine and severe windchill,

    I can the light blue run that goes to -17c that’s the trend setter you know past next weekend

    Building blocks are in place long before day 10 on the ECM,it’s a logical evolution if you follow the run from the start.

    Big update from met office this morning snow especially S and E by next weekend and very uncertain it will turn less cold by MID March,it’s coming folks

    No it begins next week and get colder and colder as the days go on.Have you not been following the models to make that assumption
