    The MO would have us believe it is going to get milder, and only colder towards the end of the week after next... So are we getting an easterly by the end of this week or not?? West seems best for snow this weekend as yesterday's falls over parts of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire are still there, lovely and white!

    A lovely covering here in west carmarthenshire - about 2inches as it has snowed most of the morning. Similar picture over the Preseli hills down towards Narberth and Tenby!

    Could be good if it comes off. I think this is more exciting than the snow earlier in the year. It was so cold, we almost expected it. When things hang in the balance, there is always that element of surprise. M

    I've read that occasionally too.... it must be written at least on the Monday before it go on the shelves Wednesday. But it generally is incorrect and usually contains local events and general gossip. They probably just like using it because it's a way of keeping in with S4C and welsh speakers! Got any further detail Jack?

    Toot Toot!!!!! Still looking good for parts of Pembrokeshire this weekend... but streamers are so hit and miss... !!!!!!! We need the temps to start falling, no point in that lovely snow melting quick!

    MetOffice are just giving 'isolated wintry showers' for the weekend... are we going to get more significant snow fall?? getting a bit nervous that this might not come off...

    Freezing fog conditions around St. Clears and Whitland this morning. Temps there still currently around -4/5c. Snowed over parts of north Pembs and west Carmarthenshire early this morning too, adding another few cms. Still below freezing in Carmarthen town also.

    Very funny! I don't need to lie about anything! LOL!!!! I'd take a photo (of the snow) but would struggle holding the camera and ruler at the same time... the snow is SO deep!!!!!

    Sorry haven't updated thi smorning!I got stuck in my car! Back in the warm now, but there is 13cm of lying snow on the grass here... with more snow pushing in over the Preseli hills... very heavy snow earlier this morning across north Pembrokeshire down to Narberth and Whitland.

    The snow fields of carms and pembs, is my line ain't it!!!! The depth map above is only as good as the precipitation falling out of the sky... so we shall have to wait and see where the low ends up. Very cold here right now.. -3 not far from the Preseli range..

    Currently 0.1c here, westerly wind blowing. Pressure is rising too. More cloud to the north/northwest... moving ese. No precipitation as yet... Temp hasn't risen much over 1c all day, but there has been snow melt from snow on branches and leaves etc. I'll post again later. Snow has melted much more quickly in south pembrokeshire and around the coast. Aberporth got up to 4c today... the snow surely melted there!

    The warmer sea is making it rain in lowlying aberystwyth... air temps down south are a lot colder in the snow fields of pembrokeshire and carmarthenshire.

    A good covering here. Branches are thick with lots of powder snow. Just went out for a walk and the snow is about 2 inches deep. Don't want to be too greedy, but I'm hoping for more! Should be a pretty good covering over the Preseli's by now too.. perfect for some sledging!!

    Moderate snow shower here on the Pembrokeshire / Carmarthenshire border. Current temp... 1.9c. Unfortunately it isn't falling fast enough to stick...

    Snowing here in South West Wales. Had some heavy showers in west Wales throughout the day. Not sticking at present, big fluffy flakes her at the moment. Was very calm here earlier this evening but the wind is starting to pick up abit again now. Current temp: 1.9c
