Too early to say this is a downgrade. I've read the comments too. it's just one run... and everything seems to be pointing to colder weather. It was 10c here today, so anything cooler than this wet, grey, foggy, miserable weather will be an improvement....

OK OK! I'm starting to get excited. I am a reformed cold ramper, so have tried not to let temptation build up inside of me. But it seems as though Andy was right. Let's hope that we'll have cold across the whole of Wales... and not let Powys get the best of the snow. I've had some snow, more than any other year I can remember... AND NOW I WANT MORE!!!!!

True we can hold on a bit tho!!! This weather is far better than Januarys of a few years ago with sw'lys and day and nighttime temps of 14c!!! Winter just didn't feel right. I hope you're right Andy. Altho, I'm sure I read something last week that said the sun is becoming more active, or maybe that was more active than it has been in recent times. Loved those perfectly timed programmes on C4 at the weekend, Britain's Big Freeze followed by The Day After Tomorrow... great as I looked out on the moonlit, snow covered hills!

Very icy down west this morning too. No further snow or wintry precipitation. Every forecast now seems to be pointing to milder conditions for the rest of the week.

You're right, but I think most Xmas lights do get switched off overnight... more about getting those big nasty supermarkets to switch off their unnecessary lights at night. And why not!

Maybe someone could tell my local tescos to turn the car park lights off in the day!!!! Looking forward to some more white sticky flakes on tuesday night!!
