  1. I fear you are right Catacol, but we have a chance as colder air feeds back as the system moves through Sun night into Monday.
  2. Stronger height rise in Scandi on 18z. PV to the NW looks bullish as ever, though.
  3. So a rain/sleet-SNOW-SNOW event as the wraparound pummels the southwest. We live in hope.
  4. Channel Low - Christmas Day Don't worry - it will correct south by then
  5. At least they have a snow machine down the lane near the Spa - that's all you'll be getting
  6. Welcome to the madhouse WW. You could get lucky in Wilts. The boundaries are all still to play for.
  7. We're still in the game! - Just shift that lot another 150 miles south. Could easily happen by then.
  8. some speculation (in nw regional thread) that a circulation feature may be forming west end of the trough. does look like potential on the radar.
  9. I was Majic on met monkey LOL - where's THC now we're all coming out of the woodwork.
  10. Would love to just see snow falling at some point. That would do me for now.
  11. LMAO come on Jay - you've been here for 25 years - you know exactly when the 6Z comes out!!
  12. I see this year on year about the pressure/temp measurements on the Greenland plateau. Surely not that difficult to fix by adding new data gathering points in this part of the world? Or is it just a myth rolled out every time? If it's a depth through the FEA that is the problem then a localised fix could be used.
  13. Very bizarre light here today. Like others have said, a green / yellow hue and very dusklike. Humid feeling wind blowing. It feels a bit like the Apocalypse!
  14. Crazy, intense rain outta nowhere. (near Watchet) I love the summer months. A packet of warm air just passed over, I reckon, lots of PE in a tiny packet. Heading east now
  15. 2nd audible rumble for me. interesting to see how much ppn. i need a station haha
  16. No disrespect to your setup, but a sensor for rain/depth/time has got to be pretty tricky. I've often wondered how accurate these off the shelf stations could be. First rumble just heard here.
  17. look at the strikes http://en.blitzortung.org/live_lightning_maps.php?map=12 or better still..get outside
  18. The skies to the south of Bristol are spectacular tonight. Reminds me of a Med Storm approaching (when in the Med). lntense trough/squall heading north. Loads of strikes on blitzortung. WOW!
