  1. Personally for me i look fwd to warmth from 1st April and Cold from the 1st November..... tho nowadays winter has just become an extension to autumn !!
  2. Well although i hate the relatively mild wind and rain (prefer ice/snow or extreme heat) it certainly hasnt been boring this wet and windy spell at least some weather too talk about. Though we must be mindful what the weather is capable of !
  3. Some very lively showers whistling thru here.... squally hail with thunder / lightning. Deffo some interesting weather about

  8. Well it looks like this mornings snow has headed further south and looks like it's heading south east thru N Ireland ..IOM and into NW England
  9. A few flurries have made it down to the Ayrshire coast....hopefully Tues / wed will hold interest n any warm sectors get mixed out

  11. Well I don't think coastal Irvine will receive anything more than a slushy mess ..so it's no measurable snow for me this week. What are the rest of your predictions for your hoose..farm...dwelling ??
  12. Wouldn't be getting hung up on snowfall when n where....instability will throw up suprise snowfall. Be better sticking your head out the window..
  13. A few statements from the model output thread.......... Winter is over, topper at best, snow for northern hills only, raging PV, Atlantic barrelling thru, 90% will be snowless, only the UK could fail to miss out. The mad house is definitely in full flow this morning !!

  16. Enjoying the sunshine and dry weather temp 2c...wonder what the outlook next week is..? dry cold and frosty or snaw.......
  17. Experience should tell everyone to follow ECM and METO over GFS
  18. Quite incredible that Helensburgh and Gourock have a great snow event whilst Irvine bee pretty dry
  19. Another horrible day.... stuck at work looking out the window in Kilmarnock strong winds and heavy rain
