  1. Minimum Temp. last night -4.5C at 08.06. Cloud has rolled in from the NW. Temp. currently -3.4C (+0.7C/hour). BBC Weather suggesting Scotland wide snowfall Friday into Saturday. Whoever is on the eastern side of that stalling front is in for a good one!
  2. Max Today +2.2C. Now -0.6C/-1.5C and cloudy. Snow remains intact out of direct sunlight.
  3. Light snow shower here before 07.00. Temp. +0.2C/-0.3C. Lowest -0.8C overnight. East Angus/Fife should be getting a dusting going by the radar.
  4. Maximum temperature today +1.2C. Now -1.6C/-2.2C (-0.3C/hour). Snow still lying here, about 1cm. Snow flurry leaving Dundee at 18.00.
  5. Surprise, surprise all white here this morning, about 5mm snow. Temp +0.3C/-0.1C.
  6. Well another weekend over so from the white stuff back to the green stuff (Methadone) all week in Dundee. Nitey nite all and thanks for all the craic.
  7. Oh dear Hairy Celt I see your mind is wandering again - lets hope the snow comes soon to relieve your frustration (my Freudian analysis of your post!)
  8. You should be in my shoes EDO, my other hobby is Astronomy. My Telescopes are standing idle! Clear skies anyone?
  9. Now steady OTR (AND Allyw who agrees with you) violence, even in our current predicament, is only to be used as a last resort ........ well OK you win (biff, bam, thump, take that you rotter - sorry a lifelong Dandy reader!).
  10. Temperature slowly rising +1.8C/+1.2C (+0.1C/hour).
  11. Yes Allyw - for the Home Counties, Englandshire (528 dam line across area) with a good Easterly feed.
  12. I get woken at 06.00 each morning by Radio 4 and this morning at 06.03 Alex Deakin from the Met was predicting 2-5cm for Scottish lowlands with 5-10cm for higher parts. At 06.57 he had changed it to rain or sleet at low levels and 5 - 10cm for higher ground. Appears they were simply nowcasting on their incoming reports?!
  13. Safe journeying Big Innes, we'll have it white for your return.
  14. Aye Allyw I WILL be surprised if this week does not deliver the goods and I agree - if the Mods were to issue a prize for the RT with the friendliest people and best craic the Kilted Thread would win hands down.
  15. Heavy sleet again, dreich. Temp. +1.7C/+1.1C (+0.3C/hour).
  16. Going on recent verification I doubt they are more than eye candy, sorry.
  17. Aye many children and children at heart bitterly disappointed by this mornings efforts. Chins up for later in the week though.
  18. Temp. +1.5C/+0.9C (+0.6C/hour) oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
  19. Forget it Isolated Frost - total non-event for 99% Kilters. If things were marginal before this morning I dread to think what the 850's and 950's are now and where the cold is coming from to suppress them again! Wets himself!
  20. Drat it Edo, wish I had thought of that 10 years ago - he's taller than me now so daren't risk it!
  21. Yeah LS as Elvis Presley's father Vernon said about guitar pickers - I never met a Polar Maritime airmass that was worth a damn!
  22. Talking of genes Edo, I am getting concerned about the paternity of my 18 year old son. He says he hates snow so he can't possibly be mine!
  23. Although yet again the failure for today to verify wrt the Charts of 48 hours ago is of major concern and perplexing in the extreme. Where are those cold uppers LS?
  24. Actually most Pharmacists have a twisted and hilarious sense of humour but we have to appear sensible (they call it Professional) to avoid scaring the Patients!
  25. The sun is out at Tyndrum and Glen Ogle west of Perth. That precipitation band has died amazingly quickly.
