  1. Easing off already, sun trying to break through.
  2. 13c and absolutely tanking it down. Radar looks like we're on the Southern edge of the main band across the Midlands and Wales. Hopefully will clear by 11ish.
  3. Heavy rain now, but not very windy here at the mo.
  4. Yeah, it went on for an hour yday eve, and it came on this morning from 06.30 til 9. Was hoping to keep it off til early Nov, but hey-ho.
  5. 3c when i awoke this morn, with a slight frost on the shed roof. 10c now, crisp, sunny day - feels colder in the shade but sat in back garden at mo, with a cup of coffee and in full sun it feels luverly
  6. Lashing it down. Rain hitting back of the gaff, indicating a Northerly direction. Temp has plunged from 18c, a couple of hours ago, to 12c.
  7. 17c raining. It was quite pleasant earlier today, with a top temp of 19c and a warm breeze.
  8. 10c, cloudy, been raining thru the night. Felt colder last night when i went to bed, as wind was hitting back of the house, indicating a northerly direction.
  9. If it's an EV another massive issue is car insurance. Prices will soar for owners of an EV. Actually they are already rising and likely to continue rising, because of EV repair costs. Already reports suggest there are not enough car technicans/car mechanics in the UK, with new required skills to service and repair EVs, esp when things go wrong. Edit: Diesel vehicle, early reports suggest.
  10. Grey, cloudy, 17c. Popped down shop for the paper in shorts and t-shirt. Did chuckle at the rents dropping their kids off at school, all layered up. Wonder what they'll be wearing when it's 0c
  11. Oh, what a scream! A few days ago it was a mild Winter coming, the warm September meant a cold Winter was v unlikely, peeps were getting "worried"...now, a cold Winter is back on! You couldnt make it up - this forum, and some of you never cease to make me chuckle, at times
  12. Yep. Popped to Weston-S-M yday with my wife and our 3 year old grandson (well he's only 2 months off 4). Great to be able to get out in the sun and warmth, so he could let off steam. On the pier for an hour, a spot of lunch followed by a mint choc chip ice cream and then an hour in the park on the front, which is great for the kids. Easy to do when the weather's so good; not possible when it's wet, windy and cool. Cheers
  13. The grey and gloom has lifted, at last. Sun trying to break thru. 17c.
  14. The grey gloom is actually v damp; feels like the finest of drizzle falling.
  15. 15c, grey, dull, misty. There's been a very heavy dew this morning. Clearance not expected 'til after midday.
  16. 12 days in Fuerteventura, for us, early Nov
  17. 15c, sunny, a few wispy clouds about. Glorious Autumn morning
  18. 21c, breezy, but clear skies are at a premium here. Fairly cloudy with sun poking through occasionally.
  19. The sun's finally broken through here, 18c. Cloud readily breaking up. Cool breeze.
  20. Despite a temp of 17c it's a cold wind out there. Cloud doing its best to loiter for the morning.
  21. 15c, grey, murky...hmm... Where's the sun and blue skies?
