  1. Did mine on Tuesday, it looks a bit naff now, but at least it's short - last one 'til....erm....late Jan, if core of Winter is mild.
  2. 10c, clear blue skies, looks a decent Autumn day today. Wasted an hour's heating this morn; it's like an oven in here
  3. Stormiest, wettest Winter for many many years i reck, with slightly above average temps. Will quieten down by early Feb, with cooler temps and dry, but nowt to get too excited about in terms of proper cold and snow. Quick flip to mild near that month's end and March to be a cracker, v mild.
  4. Just exited our local shopping mall, bus to catch and it's 'kin torrential, under doom-laden skies. Been raining all morn. 'Exeter'! You're fired!!
  5. Agreed Dan. Woeful morning forecast. Yday eve at 10.30 on ITV our local forecast, Meto, said the rain was going to trundle along the South coast. Been raining since before dawn.
  6. Local Meto guy on our local ITV news says For our area November, so far Average sunshine levels Temps a degree above Nov average Rainfall already at c75% for Nov So, must be odds on this part of England will end up well above Nov average rainfall for whole of month. Thankfully i missed 1st 10 days of the sh#te.
  7. Beautiful photograph Could easily have stayed another few weeks, but we had too many late nights (as usual), so need a period on the dryers. Loved our daily mid-morning walks, feeling the sun on my back, followed by a relaxing drink, late morn, overlooking Corralejo bay. The vibe is fab on the island, as its continues to recover from the imposed covid restrictions on life and businesses. Back in May next year for sure, but knowing us we'll be tempted by a week in Winter, although a Caribbean cruise is scheduled for mid-Feb. Enjoy the heat, it looks like it'll hit around 27c for a couple of days this week.
  8. Really?! Monday 27 Nov - Monday 11 Dec Most likely unsettled and mild conditions prevailing with periods of strong winds and heavy rain or showers at times, with a few brief, brighter and colder interludes. There are currently no indication of any periods of prolonged or unusually cold weather in this period. This is often one of the wettest times of the year, and there is nothing to suggest that this won't continue to be the case, especially in western areas. Updated: 15:00 (UTC) on Sun 12 Nov 2023
  9. 9c, grey, damp, been raining this morn. Huge contrast to last 2 weeks in Fuerteventura, with top daytime temps ranging from 23c on a 'cool' day to 27c on one of our hotter days. Here's hoping for a Winter, here, made up of a Dry, sunny version of 'December 2015'.
  10. Not looking forward to next 3 months back in SG. I've developed a really strong dislike of Brit Winters. Years ago i loved a cold one but not these days.
  11. I only access via my mobile phone and have had no issues
  12. Hot and humid here, 26c already (at 10.00am) . The usual Fuerteventura wind is noticeably absent.
  13. Autumnal sky at dusk, 18.20 Fuerteventura
  14. 26c sunny, with high level wispy cloud
  15. Yep. That's why past threads along the lines of "It's Worringly dry" look so damn stupid.
  16. Grim out there now. 13c, moderate to heavy rain; the dark and gloom have descended on us.
  17. Decent start to the day, with temps up to 15c. Rain has arrived now, though, temp down to 13c.
