  1. More like no cold nights, here. And days staying mild or warm. No big deal, as it's only 2nd Oct.
  2. 17c, grey, drizzly. Coming Weekend looks ace though
  3. Ah right, so wish one's time away. When u get to 61 you really dont want the "20 something weeks" that you mention to pass quickly
  4. Just reached 21c here. Clouds trying to break up, but not really expecting much in the way of sunny spells today. But 21c on 1st October, i'll take that
  5. Grey, dull, cloudy but v warm for 09.00 on 1st Oct, at 19c.
  6. 15c, cloudy, grey, dull, a few spots of rain here. 4 week countdown to next trip to Fuerteventura
  7. Our First Day ticket (all dayer) costs £6. I'm lucky being just on edge of Bristol and near Bristol Parkway train station. Bus service here is pretty decent, but other parts of Bristol and surrounding areas would beg to differ.
  8. It was not bad here, either. Sunny and some clouds, around 19c, but breezy. We popped down to Bristol dockside. Hopped on the 'fast' bus for £3.80 return each. Fish n Chips at Salt n Malt, then over to the Waterside bars for a few bevvies. A decent late Sept day; long may the settled, warmish weather continue well into Autumn.
  9. September might be on course to be warmer than June, but it's also easily going to be wetter than June for vast maj of areas.
  10. Breezy here, we've had a few light showers. Nearest MetO station, a couple of miles away, at Almondsbury, now only forecasting gusts of 32mph over next few hours.
  11. Yeah, as long as it falls into the school grounds, behind our gaff. The damn thing is about 30 feet tall and almost the same wide.
  12. Hmm...if my inconsiderate neighbour 2 doors down, who refuses to severely cut his tree back, could wake up Thurs morn with the monstrosity downed that would make our day at Chez Bris Si's.
  13. Around 40mph gusts, for here and they're forecast to be infrequent. Nowt exceptional.
  14. We passed through it 15 mins ago in the car, coming from Yate thru Iron Acton, Winterbourne. Main road and drains thru Winterbourne, outside the school, were struggling to cope with the monsoon rain.
  15. Really?! Yday eve the Beeb weather guy, Matt Taylor, put up figs of near 100% rainfall, so far, this Sept for most areas. Many areas likely to go past 100% for Sept, by month's end.
  16. 20c sun and clouds. V pleasant in back garden
  17. I'm Guilty As Charged, in agreement Dan.
  18. Wasnt too bad this morn, but clouded over now. Temp of 15c. Anyway, it's Saturday, so that means an afters in front of telly watching the racing and following the footie scores. A cup of tea later with a choco muffin from Lidl.
  19. It's abs lashing it down right now. Grim. Thankfully, yday afters was ok, bar one shower, which meant i could do a few pubs over my old 'stomping' ground (other side of Bristol), and seeing my pals.
  20. 14c, raining again, heavy downpours on and off since lunchtime. 1st time the house has felt a little cold, since late April i reck. Admittedly, still have a few of the small windows open though. Autumn's well and truly arrived here, this week.
