    Spotless again. If 2018 follows the Oct-Dec trend of 2017 I'd expect well over 200 spotless days.

    Wonder if the UKMO 12z has trended north as my local METO forecast has gone from 0% to 80% heavy snow Sunday. Just a thought.

    Are we now in solar minimum and if so how long will it last, or will it recover? Probably the most interesting period of solar observations for decades coming in the next few years.

    One thing certain it's been quiet since September and especially so this month. Higher level blocking forecast in the northern hemisphere around the same time as a quiet sun. Coincidence?

    The sun was quite inactive last month as well. September saw an active month but since then it's crashed.
